I was given this NANO 1000 as a Christmas gift. It works perfectly, gives me the flow that I had required and was expecting, so that's really good. However, it is somewhat noisy; not bad, but enough that I noticed. Neither my 1000 nor my 2000 (also a gift) contained silencers. I contacted SICCE about this, an they immediately responded to me, asking for my address so that they could send them to me. Great customer service.

Bought this to add circulation to my planted 40B. It was just the correct amount of flow I wanted, but it was VERY NOISY! It could be heard across the living room. I removed it, checked for binding or contact of the impeller, and it was free. After multiple tries I couldn't get it quiet, so back it goes!!!

I needed additional water circulation in my 29 gallon co2 injected planted tank but did not want a harsh flow. This nano circulation pump provides exactly what I needed, including help distributing the co2 from the diffuser. I was afraid the magnets wouldn't work well on an acrylic tank but it works perfectly. It holds it strong and steady and it takes a bit to even pull the magnets apart. Their design also keeps the pump ultra quiet, no rattling or noises. The slots between the guards are a little big for my taste, anything small could possibly get sucked in. Overall, I'm really glad I picked this one up.
