HYPERCARBO COCCO Decomposing organic compounds release substances that are harmful in the closed system of an aquarium. These substances include pigments, proteins, phenols, and lignins. Particulate matter accumulating in the aquarium can act as a constant source of these materials. Use HYPERCARBO COCONUT for routine removal of dissolved substances, heavy metals, and after administration of medications. HYPERCARBO COCONUT achieves different levels of filtration, owing to its varied pore sizes. Prolonged absorption via smaller pore sizes traps dissolved substances electrostatically. Mechanical action captures suspended particles in larger pores. Medium range pores provide attachment surfaces for beneficial nitrifying bacteria.

I just purchased Imagitarium Ammonia-Reducing filter media cubes from Petco and there are no instructions for how to use. I have a 5 gallon tank with a submerged Built-in filtration system how many cubes do I use and how do I put them in my filter? Please provide the instructions thank you for your time.

My new glofish shark has long, white, stringy poop hanging off its body. I may have overfed him his glofish flakes. Is he constipated or stressed from being in a new tank? I treated the water with Aqua SafeStart and EasyBalance. What can I do to get him to poop?

So I've been thinking about getting an axolotl, but I'm a bit confused as I've never had any type of aquarium. My question is: I've been told to get an Aquaclear 50 HBO filter (plus a sponge one for extra bio media), and to slow the flow by placing plants and things under it. But this specific model's slowest flow is 250 l/h, which might be too little for a 90l tank. But if I set it up to 370 or so (which I find would be the best), the flow might be too strong for the axie! Any solutions? <3
Hi I'm looking to buy a male Betta in the next couple weeks and keep him in a 5 gallon tank by himself. I had a Betta several years ago and remember the hassle of changing the water, so this time around I was looking to buy a filter. What would be a good filter for my situation and how would I set it up? After installing a filter, what would the upkeep of the tank look like? Will I ever need to change the water or use purifying agents?
Hello! Things didn’t go so well with cichlids and I only have one remaining which I moved to a different tank. The 45 is now empty and the others besides one blue African cichlid has died. I did water tests and most came out fine except the Carbonate hardness which was at a 40. (That’s bad as far as I know if you could clarify that would be great) but I have a goldfish that would do great in there but I’m very attached and I don’t want anything to happen to him as well any idea of what I can do?
