Decomposing organic compounds release substances that are harmful in the closed system of an aquarium. These substances include pigments, proteins, phenols, and lignins. Particulate matter accumulating in the aquarium can act as a constant source of these materials. HyperCarbo Fast is used to remove both dissolved substances and fine particulate matter, to help keep the aquarium clean and its inhabitants healthy. Also use HyperCarbo Fast after administration of medications. It is essential for eliminating heavy metals. HyperCarbo Fast acts two ways. Ultra-fast absorbing action works by attracting dissolved molecules electrostatically; Mechanical action captures suspended particles in its porous structure.

I just purchased Imagitarium Ammonia-Reducing filter media cubes from Petco and there are no instructions for how to use. I have a 5 gallon tank with a submerged Built-in filtration system how many cubes do I use and how do I put them in my filter? Please provide the instructions thank you for your time.
I have 2 fancy goldfish in a 60 gallon tank and one of them, has stopped eating and became lethargic after about five days after I got him! He hasn’t eaten in about 4 days. The tank was cycled using a filter cartridge from an established tank. 15% water changes every 4 days and yesterday I did a 50% water change, I then removed the activated carbon and added metroplex and kanaplex and aquarium salt. No improvement. Should I put the activated carbon back in or continue treating with the meds?
Trying to treat betta for Popeye otherwise healthy happy and active. Moved from five to three gallon filtered heated tanks. Feed freeze dried blood worms, daphnia and bug bites by fluval. Also am changing some if not all water every few days. Treated with kanaplex several doses no real improvement. Switzed to metroplex in water treatment as I don't know how food treatment works or how to dose started four doses two days apart and there is some improvement to the eyes. Med is miconidazole.

I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina

I’m trying to cycle a 10 gal fish tank. I have been adding your biological booster for a month now and nothing is happening. The ammonia is holding steady at .5 ppm and I’m not seeing any nitrites. Is there a way I can test to see if there are actually live bacteria in the booster. I’ve checked everything else I can think of.
