Questions
My dog is small, but tall. His height from ground to shoulders is 14" though he weighs under 15 lb. I want an airline compliant expandable carrier. Was looking at medium sherpas. Do I need to get large?
- These are for under-seat use, and we found that almost all modern planes have shrunk their under-seat dimensions (maybe for charging and audio-visual?) that we had to forcibly squash all 3 of our cabin-approved carriers (which was OK in our case, as we had 2 cats--and cats squish as needed--plus and one spare carrier). If you have non-draconian crew, you can possibly pull the bag out to your feet, and then "squash" a carrier vertically...but if your dog needs to stand tall to feel comfortable, it may still be worse to do "in cabin" with a (flimsy, squashable) approved sherpa than to do the cargo hold with a solid, protective case. Maybe being squished would work for a short trip? But at no time in the last 5 years have we encountered a plane under-seat where this carrier would be the limiting height, when under the seat.

What are the true actual size dimensions for this carrier.... length, width, height? What is the width with the expandable side pocket open?
Flying international ok with this?
For cat ok too? My cat is 9 pounds
- My small dog is 15 lbs and she fits in this carrier. It is suitable for dogs and cats up to 16 lbs but they recommend measuring your pet's length and height as well. (Maximum length- 16" and maximum height- 9.5")

What size crate should I purchase for an adult German Shepherd I am planning to adopt?
My Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix has had to stay in her pet taxi/ kennel for up to 13 hours a night. Due to night shift-job. She hasn't had any accidents in the kennel. However after I'm home for a little while she starts having accidents in the house. She's a year and a half old and weighs 7lbs. Is it unhealthy for her to hold her urine and stool that long ?
Angel has lung CA, X-ray 1 week ago showed primary mass increasing in size, lots of new smaller masses, RR currently 46 (vet said 30-40 fine), nasal flaring, use of accessory muscles, and new fine crackles to RLL. She looks comfortable, resting, eyes closed, should we bring her to ER or wait til morning? It’s 2230 right now, could try to get her into regular vet in morning. What could be done to make her comfortable? 1xdose furosemide? Currently on prednisone, gabapentin, CBD. Thanks!!
