Is it okay for my cat to just eat chicken based meals? She currently eats whole hearted dry and wet food. Up to 1 cup of dry per day, and one can every other day.
This is where Luna's food is stored. For the past few days I've caught her biting the container lid. Why is that? She's fed 1/2 cup per day of purina cat chow naturals, but is she still hungry?

What should I look for when buying cat food? Blossom likes wet but she occasionally throws up ( especially if it's in gravy or sauce) and Kenwood likes dry but will also eat Blossom's food if available. Right now Blossom is eating Purina Pro Plan and Kenwood is eating Fancy Feast Filet Mignon and w/ seafood and shrimp. Both are inside cats with little to moderate activity . Blossom is 9 years old and Kenwood is 3 1/2. Kenwood is a big black cat and slightly overweight while Blossom is small.

We stopped giving dry food for our cat from last week. We used to give him Sheba tuna and chicken twice a day. Yesterday I had given him Sheba prime cut chicken breast at night, he ate it fast and morning I saw that he has vomited. He has eaten this food before 4 to 5 times. Please advise me. I tried Iam (individual portions in plastic containers) she eats it but not so much anymore, tried more caned food... no luck. My cat is a picky eater. I've tried feeding her so many different types of food and she has settled on Blue Buffalo dry food. As a kitten I tried feeding her high quality wet food but she only ever wanted fancy feast gravy lovers.
