How to apply the Seresto collar on your dog: 1. Remove the collar from its packaging. 2. Unroll the collar and remove the small plastic connectors from inside the collar, ensuring that no remnants remain. 3. Insert the end of the collar through the buckle and loops. 4. Adjust the collar around your dog's neck until it fits comfortably on them.5. Two fingers should fit beneath the collar and neck to ensure it's not too tight. Any excess length of the collar beyond an inch past the loops should be cut off, unless it is on a growing puppy, where some additional length may be needed for adjustment as the puppy grows. 6. Check periodically and adjust fit if necessary, especially on growing puppies.

I tried just about every product, vet recommendations and all and honestly this is the only thing that has truly worked for my dogs. I’ve even went over the 8 months and they’ve still been flea and tick free! Will continue to buy this product, not to mention there is always a good sale every now and then. Wish it came with two and maybe a little bigger for larger sized dogs as it gets a little tight for my mastiff.

I bought this for my 9lb chihuahua. She was covered in fleas and I would bathe her daily to get rid of the fleas. This collar started to work the next day after putting it on her. I sprayed her dog bed with lemon juice and water mixture and now she is flea free. I bought one a long time ago for my chihuahua Pomeranian mix which worked very good even with the long thick hair. Highly recommend this product.

Have used this product in the past with good results but this year has been a disappointment. My dog has had several ticks attach while wearing the collar this year and we have only had it a month and a half. Something must have changed because the quality obviously poorer than before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took my little human camping recently and this thing was a lifesaver. Did it's Job by keeping the ticks away and my girl didn't seem to mind it at all.

If I could give this 0 I would this collar was on my dog for less than a month and the hair on his neck was completely burned away and he had red blisters all over his neck I removed this and put aloe Vera on his neck and it had cleaned up and hair is growing back

This doesn't work at all. I've had to bathe my dog three times now with a flea shampoo because she is full of fleas and bitten all over. The collar is pretty much new, she's been wearing the collar for about a month so I don't know why it's not working. I'm really disappointed with this product.

I'm debating switching from Frontline to this flea collar, but my dog is epileptic I want to make sure that this collar is safe to give to her. I looked it up, but I'm getting conflicting results on whether or not this collar is safe for epileptic dogs.

Can you use Seresto collar if you are giving your dog Next Guard? If so if your dog is 45-46 lbs but is 9 months old what size do I need to get? Or should I change the kind of flea and tick I give?

what is considered the weight limit for a small dog, for this collar, I am not sure what size to get. Your website says small or large dog, no medium size?

If you look at the picture, it says the weight on the front of the packaging. Small dog is under 18 lbs, large dog is above 18 lbs.

Who's Elanco? What happened to Bayer as the manufacturer? Are they still good?

Bayer got out of this business and sold their animal health lines to Elanco, which in turn was spun off from Eli Lilly, who wanted to concentrate on more profitable human pharma. It's a major player even if its only a few years old.

Is it ok if you dog sleeps in the bed with your while wearing this collar? I am just curious if the chemicals on the collar are safe for prolonged human contact. Is it ok to take the collar off at night?

I purchase these from a competitor and they were the fake collars and we were all itchy!! I got a full refund and purchased from a vet. No itiching or skin issues at all. I think RIM1949 got a fake set of collars. Easiest way to tell is the case is embossed, and there is more details on the back. You can find more details on a google search.

Can this product be used on an as needed basis (meaning - only put it on them when you are going hiking for instance)? Or do they have to wear it all the time no matter what?

I believe that the seresto collar would be most effective if worn all the time. Ticks can be in our backyards. I have collars on my indoor cats because my dog could unknowingly bring in a tick
