How to apply the Seresto collar on your dog: 1. Remove the collar from its packaging. 2. Unroll the collar and remove the small plastic connectors from inside the collar, ensuring that no remnants remain. 3. Insert the end of the collar through the buckle and loops. 4. Adjust the collar around your dog's neck until it fits comfortably on them.5. Two fingers should fit beneath the collar and neck to ensure it's not too tight. Any excess length of the collar beyond an inch past the loops should be cut off, unless it is on a growing puppy, where some additional length may be needed for adjustment as the puppy grows. 6. Check periodically and adjust fit if necessary, especially on growing puppies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This collar is a simple way to keep the bugs away from my dog. It doesn’t have a strong smell and is comfortable for my dog to wear. I like this as an option for keeping pests at bay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this season has been full of ticks. We put this collar on our dog Rory it doesn’t bother her and we haven’t found a tick yet. We run around in the woods quite a bit too.

I'm debating switching from Frontline to this flea collar, but my dog is epileptic I want to make sure that this collar is safe to give to her. I looked it up, but I'm getting conflicting results on whether or not this collar is safe for epileptic dogs.

Can you use Seresto collar if you are giving your dog Next Guard?  If so if your dog is 45-46 lbs but is 9 months old what size do I need to get?  Or should I change the kind of flea and tick I give?

what is considered the weight limit for a small dog, for this collar, I am not sure what size to get. Your website says small or large dog, no medium size?

      1. If you look at the picture, it says the weight on the front of the packaging. Small dog is under 18 lbs, large dog is above 18 lbs.

Who's Elanco? What happened to Bayer as the manufacturer? Are they still good?

      1. Bayer got out of this business and sold their animal health lines to Elanco, which in turn was spun off from Eli Lilly, who wanted to concentrate on more profitable human pharma. It's a major player even if its only a few years old.

Can these collars be put on immediately following a bath with hair/fur still damp?

Is it ok if you dog sleeps in the bed with your while wearing this collar? I am just curious if the chemicals on the collar are safe for prolonged human contact. Is it ok to take the collar off at night?

        1. I purchase these from a competitor and they were the fake collars and we were all itchy!! I got a full refund and purchased from a vet. No itiching or skin issues at all. I think RIM1949 got a fake set of collars. Easiest way to tell is the case is embossed, and there is more details on the back. You can find more details on a google search.

What are the letter and numbers on the inside of the colar.

Can this product be used on an as needed basis (meaning - only put it on them when you are going hiking for instance)? Or do they have to wear it all the time no matter what?

          1. I believe that the seresto collar would be most effective if worn all the time. Ticks can be in our backyards. I have collars on my indoor cats because my dog could unknowingly bring in a tick

What size collar do I need to purchase for my dog that is 29 pounds the small or large collar?

will it work if my dog isn’t fully dry after a bath

            1. I believe it’s waterproof and will work continuously even after getting wet.
