My goldfish appears bloated
How to protect goldfish from parasites.
I recently got my goldfish (very small) and I put him in a 5 gallon tank (new tank with conditioned water and filter). He swims around very fast and up and down the tank walls. When I feed him flakes, he chews really quickly and then spits it out. I can’t tell if he actually eats anything. The ammonia levels are a little high (3.0) so I put in some ammonia fixer. All the other tests seem normal. Is there anything else I can do?
My goldfish has blood in his find. I searched what it could be and found a website that took me it was ammonia poisoning or something and I just needed to clean his tank. 1 of 2 goldfish has been upside down and struggling..been doing this off n on for 4 mos but has been consistently upside down for 2 days now..was advised to not feed for 3 days...this has worked before but not now..I soak the flakes before feeding .. did a water change this morning..I don't see anything on his skin..have had him for 3 years using same wellwater, no chlorine..other fish seems fine..What can I do?

My Betta fish keeps spitting out its food. I feed it "XL color granules" mixed with "color flakes" its tank mate is a molly. I heard you can get bloodworms and soak them in garlic guard and they will eat it. Is this true? Thank you. -Cristina
