Can you use pleco wafers
How is this mounted to the tank? Will it work if I have a cover?

When using it with flake food does this unit clog up. Many automatic feeders clog up with flake food. And I don't want to have to return it...
- Hi, if you use it with flake food, it can definitely clog up. For this, we suggest, to connect an air pump to it. That way, it will not clog.

- Hi, it depends on the size of the pellets. But, if it is not too big, this will work.

Can this feed my male spade tail betta 2 pellets once a day for about a month or more. Will be gone for that long and looking for a reliable feeder
- Hi. It is difficult to feed ony 2 pellets a day with this automatic feeder. One suggestion is to close (tape) the outfall, so that it becomes smaller. In that case, please make sure, to try it a few times, before you are gone.

Would it work to use pellets along with powdered First Bites? Gotta feed both adult and young fish while I’m gone a for a week
- Hi, this can work, but I do not want to recommend to use two different kind of foods (with a different shape), as they will demix after a while and after the food compartment turned. The larger granules will come on top and the powder will be at the bottom.

Can this be used with small ground up powder food such as first bites
- It is possible, but we do not recommend it, especially, as we do not know, the exact dosage you need. It is very difficult to dosage powder food with the automatic feeder, that is why we rather recommend to use granules.

What is the maximum number of days the feeder will run.
- Hi, we cannot exactly say how long the feeder continues to feed. There are some different variable factors affecting the period. For example it depends on how often you want the fish to be fed per day, how many and what kind of fish you have, how much food you put in the container and also how long the battery lasts.
