What is the best Hairball Gel/Paste brand for my cat?? There’s so many on the market and I’m not sure what one to buy to help my cat pass his stubborn hair ball successfully. He’s been gagging/yaking with nothing coming up in the last 48 hours.
My cats have trouble with hair balls, whats a good item to get for them. I've tried the cream you put on there paw
My cat is very fluffy which cause her constant problems with hairballs,I give her daily malts paste, but it doesn't help much,I tried different,so please for advice which are best effective, i also tried dry food for hairballs but she's not much into it,also she takes medications for urinary problems which are dry and make her constipated,I use salmon oil for that which help but is with much omega 3 and not safe for daily long use,i need advice for some oils that are safe for long use, thank you
My cat has been having more hairballs than usual and I think it might be because I changed his food which used to be a hairball control food. He's been having hairballs every week, not sure if that's normal for a short haired cat. Anyway, I wanted to buy a hairball control formula or medicine but I want one that is good and not too expensive. Thank you.
My long haired cat coughed up a hairball on Monday. He stopped eating on Tuesday. I took him to the vet Wednesday and was given Laxatone. He munched a few bites then walks away. I have tried baby food, tuna in oil and sardines in oil but he walks away. I even tried Vaseline as a lubricant. How long does it usually take to cough up a stubborn hairball? His vet is closed today.
My cat has a large furr ball in her gut tried furr balls food still hasn't come out
what are the best ways to handle cat hairballs
What can prevent hairballs? My cat keeps pooping and vomiting hairballs
Can this hairball-controlled food instead of hairball solution(you know... that kind of oil, can not find a appropriate word to express it in English.)? first pic: hairball-controlled food second pic: hairball solution Thanks for your reply.
I have a 2 year old cat who is 11 lbs. He ate a 5 inch piece of cotton twine about 36 hours ago. I gave him 10 ml of peroxide but he didn't start to vomit until yesterday. He would only vomit when he ate his dry food. I gave him a very watery dish of his wet food and he kept that in. He ate his dry food this morning and so far so good. He did poop yesterday and I saw some of the string in it. I am waiting for the pet store to open and I was going to buy some Laxatone.
Hello, my Maine Coon cat (a year and half young) has vomited everything he had for the past 24 hours (food, water, even the laxative ointment). Symptoms similar to what happened last Feb when we took him to the vet, spent over $1,000 on emergency check-up, x-rays, I.V., anti-nausea med, pain relief med, etc. It was concluded that the whole thing was a hairball issue. I am trying my best to help him try and pass a stool, which in turn will help him get rid of the hairball in his bowels. Ideas?
I brought my cat (4 YO black American short hair) to the vet a few months ago after she was scooting frequently and her glands were released. Our vet said she needed to be changed to a high fiber diet which we did immediately (Image attached below). This was in fact one of the ones the vet told us to buy. However, she now wants wet food and I have no clue what to give her. I read up on Merrick and am unsure which specifically to buy. Help! Please and thank you!
