Ingredients

Sorbitol, Hydrated Silica, Glycerin, Purified Water, Natural Flavor (Peanut), Xanthan Gum, Mushroom Extract, Benzoic Acid, Sodium Copper Chlorophyllin, Eucalyptus Oil, Parsley Seed Oil.

Directions: To introduce your dog to the toothpaste, apply a small amount onto your finger and allow the dog to taste. Next, apply a small amount onto a Petrodex toothbrush. Then, gently pull the lips and cheeks up. Begin brushing with short, back-and-forth strokes at the gumline. Brush only a few teeth the first time. Give a lot of praise during the process. Avoid using human toothpaste on your pet. Warnings: Avoid contact with eyes. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Store at room temperature.

its terrible I had to throw it out. My dog hated it. The poultry flavor I should have ordered because my dog loves chicken and I always bought that flavor before. But I changed to peanut because she loves peanut butter. Boy was I wrong. I wanted money on the garbage.

I switched to this after my two pups were lukewarm about a minty dental paste. They LOVE this. When they see me bring it out they chase me down and jump all over me, when I'm brushing one pup the other one tries to edge their way in. I love that they're so excited for teeth brushing time!

Both my pooches enjoy this toothpaste, it's a treat for them to brush! I thought my picky eater would reject it but he loves the taste and wants to chew the toothbrush longer. Smells good and minty although not sure how the peanut flavor mixes in, either way it's well liked by both my dogs.

I am very happy with this toothpaste and so is my puppy! He doesn't mind me trying to brush his teeth in fact he seems to look forward to it! He loves the flavor too! :)

    should Petrodex natural toothpaste look like a black gel

      Here is what I have noticed. The Petrodex enzymatic toothpastes are opaque and look somewhat like I'd expect a toothpaste to look, just tan or cream colored instead of white like people toothpastes. The Petrodex NATURAL toothpastes I have used, Peanut and Poultry, are clear very dark green gels. I brush my dogs' teeth daily, I have alternated the enzymatic and the natural for about one year on my two dogs. Great results.

      Petrodex toothpaste does expire. The expiration month and year are on the inside flap at one end of the cardboard box the tube come in.
