I’ve been using this for a few months. I wasn’t sure if it worked but I found a flea on my Morkie today, and it was DEAD! His next treatment is in a few days and it must still be working strong! Great product!

I have used fiproguard on my 2 dogs for a couple of years now...and never had a problem. I will continue using it as long as we have dogs. Actually, I have turned over my books to my friends, and they are now ordering from this company. I would not have told my friends about it, unless it was a good thing !!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Where is product made

  1. The Sentry Fiproguard Dog & Puppies Topical Flea & Tick Treatment product is manufactured in Omaha, NE.

Can this work after a dog has a tick?

  1. Thank you for your question. The Fiprogard will kill ticks, fleas and chewing lice that are present on the pet.

what is the diffewrence between Fiprotrol™ Plus Flea & Tick and the fiprotrol?

  1. Thank you for your question. Fiprotrol Plus has 0.1 % more fipronil in it than FiproGuard.

Does this product kill eggs

  1. Hi, thanks for the question. Unfortunately this information is not available to us, but you can contact the manufacturer, Sergeant's, for this technical information.

I have a 4 pound and a 2 pound chihuahua and they're sensitive to pesticide products. How well does this control mange mites and should I try it?

  1. There is a same brand product for toy breed who are sensitive.  And to control mange lice. There’s a shampoo by Adam’s. That I found works good on mites. You have to keep it way from face. And I’d recommend an eye treatment before washing found in Petco’s products called: Betericyn +pluse, antimicrobial  ophthalmic gel. To keep any shampoo’s out of eye dockets, and eyes.    Never over bath too often with medicated shampoos unless a veterinarian tells you to. If a dog already has a bad case of mites that chewed on the ears, and back, face area. I use a thin washcloth or a gaze would work for a small area like check’s and ear flaps. Stay away from eye’s. Tilt dead back to rinse. Stay away from nostrils to let them breath.    Repeat 4 day’s later. Then just wait. For 5 to 7 day’s, to use a gentle hydration shampoo, gentle and natural. And sore area’s rub a little coconut oil on rough spots. To help heal. It takes about two weeks to see the new hair come out.  No more Adam’s shampoo until a month later, if needed. I wouldn’t use it every week. It doesn’t leave a shiny coat like other shampoo’s made for skin and coat. But it’s really good on fighting lice, and mites.  Best Wishes to your fur babies.

I see Fipronil is toxic to some gallinacea.

  1. I have chickens and dogs and I don't have a problem. The chickens are mostly free range, and the dogs respect the birds so there is no direct contact. I have used this product for several years now.

Is this product made in the US? If not, where is it and the ingredients made.

  1. Packaging does not say where it is made. Says distributed by Sergeant's Pet Care Products, Omaha Ingredients syas Fipronil and Other ingredients.

I'm confused, on the up to 22 lbs, 2-6 dose pks, 9N-79749 is it a total of 12 doses?

  1. You were confused because a hyphen (-) was misplaced. It should have read "2 6-dose pks" and you would have known that it means 12 doses.

Where are the chemicals manufactured and what quality control is imposed?

  1. Sentry Fiproguard Packaging has no markings as to where it is manufactured. It is marked that it is distributed by Sergeant's Pet Care in Omaha. Doseage can be applied anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks apart, depending on your pet's risk for flea infestation.
