Sentinel Flavor Tabs kill the immature form of the heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis). They also control adult hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum), and remove and control roundworms (ascarids - Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina) and whipworms (Trichuris vulpis). In addition, Sentinel Flavor Tabs break the flea life cycle.

Sentinel must be administered monthly, preferably on the same date each month. If given seasonally, the first dose must be given within 30 days of the dog's first exposure to mosquitoes. The last dose must be given within 30 days after the dog's last exposure to mosquitoes. To ensure complete absorption, always give Sentinel Flavor Tabs to dogs either with or immediately after a normal meal. Food is essential for proper absorption of lufenuron into the bloodstream.

Once Petco received authorization from my Vet it only took about a week to receive my order.My Vet requires a fax confirmation & told me this wasn't the first experience they had with Petco emailing them instead of faxing for approval.Post office smashed the boxes inside the envelope but luckily it didn't damage the pills.

We've used Sentinel for several years, as we have collies. Their breed is ivermectin sensitive, so it's important that there is a medication out there, like Sentinel, that is as effective and deemed safe for the collie breed.

      Yes or no, depending on what you mean. Even though they're quite tiny, my dog always crunches once or twice before swallowing. But they are not soft- it's a hard tablet.
