Is pet tinic safe for a cat with liver disease?
My cat has ingested 0.7ml gentimicin once in a day as prescribed by vet.but after injecting gentamicin frequent urination and increased thirst is observed.what should I do now.plz help.
5.5 kgs(12 pounds) neutered male 8 years old tabby cat.(was neutered at 7 months old). He has an epileptic seizure every 8 hours. We have the footage of the seizure and can send it if requested. Veterinarian suggested Tegretol (includes Carbamazepine), and said we should give him 0.1 mililiters orally and also said even 1 dose can be lethal. What do you suggest?
Cat is vomiting every other day with foaming urine. Been to vet a couple of times and no cause has been found. Kidney's were strong when last checked two months ago. Vet gave me Semintra if I wanted to see if that helped. Is it safe to give him if it turns out he doesn't have kidney problems?
CARESHARE Is 1 ml enough for my 5 yr old 10 lb cat for pain relief? He was involved in a cat fight and sustained superficial Injuries but I can tell he is hurting a little. Sorry, I thought I put the name of the medication. It's Gabapentin. It was given to me by my vet to decrease my cat's anxiety when taking him to checkups.
I need antibiotics for cat respiratory infection
For about 6 months, Jolly has had a cough. Coughs mostly about ten minutes after waking up for around 30 secs. Is active otherwise. Meds including Caricef, Velosef, Ventolin, Azomax, Drontal haven't made any significant difference. Animal meds not available here. Vet wants to try Avil tablets and Pulmonol cough syrup, but it's impossible to make her eat/drink those. (Bitter?) Is there any feline version of these meds available abroad? Or any better, less bitter alternative that could be tried?
I purchased a 50 mg suspension pyrantel pamoate to deworm my cats. I was wondering what the proper dosage is for the following cats: Male/9 months old/ 12 lbs Male/ 9 month old 10 lbs Male/ 8 weeks old/ 2 lbs Thank you!
Is there another good liver healer other than Denamarin that comes in a liquid or gel form? (Cat liver disease jaundice 7.5lbs losing weight fast)
Vet prescribed Prednisone 5gm tablet for cats. Do I pill him or can I grind it into food? Also for my other cat vet prescribed Albuertol Sulfate syrup 2mg for "as needed" can you tell me what is that used for and is it just used for coughing spells.
My cat has IBD. He has flares and has just begun a new one. I gave him his normal doses of prednisoline, omeprazole, metronidazole, and added a half a Cerenia. He threw up shortly thereafter. I could identify the pred. and the omeprazole but could not see the Cerenia or flagyl. I am wondering.. would it be safe to give the injectable Cerenia I have on hand for emergencies while not knowing what if any he absorbed...and then remedicate w the others later when it has taken affect? TY
