Dead on arrival. Perhaps add that to your product description if you don't want a mass of 1 star reviews and a bunch of returns that you have to process.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this a month ago for my reef tank and had high hopes for it but unfortunately this phytoplankton is dead. This is great for feeding your corals but not for fighting algae, Dinos, and feeding your copepods. If you want live make sure to check out Algeabarns Ocean Magik. I hope that Petco will consider carrying Algeabarns Ocean Magik.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Been using stability for year but this phyto is doa. Smells horrible and on the second week I got massive cyano, green slime and hair algae going wild in my tank. Stopped using it and things are starting to get better. Dont bother talking to seachem in typical big corperate fashion it is the democrat response of it someone else's fault

Bought this about a week ago. Not sure if it works or not. The live aquatic purchased along with this product died 3 days later. The situation is pending investigation on store behalf.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Will this grow algae in the fish tank if you just add it to the water

Can I use your Seachem Phytoplankton and zooplankton to look at under the microscope for see life demonstations?

    1. Yes and no. The majority of the rotifiers and phyto will be dead. You will be able to see them, but there will be no movement for the most part. This is more intended as a fatty acid and protein supplement for corals, not for culturing or anything like that. If you want to see the life, actually alive, look into getting a bottle of Algae Barn phyto. It is a live culture.
