No other aquarium water-conditioning product is required to make tap water safe. Prime removes chlorine and chloramine (even in high chloramine levels), and detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Provides essential ions and stimulates natural slime coat. Prime also detoxifies any heavy metals found in the tap water at typical concentration levels. When used during cycling, Prime enhances nitrate removal and does not cause a pH drop or over activate protein skimmers. Great for setting up new aquariums, or when adding or changing water, or to remove nitrate. Use 1 ml for each 10 gallons of water. For freshwater or saltwater use. 100 ml treats 1,000 gallons; 250 ml treats 2,500 gallons; 500 ml treats 5,000 gallons; 1 liter treats 10,000 gallons; and 2 liter treats 20,000 gallons.

What’s the difference between reptile water conditioner and any other kind of water conditioner life fish
How to do clean water which fill in aquarium if doesn't have water conditioner?
All of my fish died after using a product purchased at Petco called ACUREL-F. How do I get their water safe to put in new fish?
Is there a thing such as adding too much water conditioner? I use reptisafe for my African dwarf frog.
Trying to treat betta for Popeye otherwise healthy happy and active. Moved from five to three gallon filtered heated tanks. Feed freeze dried blood worms, daphnia and bug bites by fluval. Also am changing some if not all water every few days. Treated with kanaplex several doses no real improvement. Switzed to metroplex in water treatment as I don't know how food treatment works or how to dose started four doses two days apart and there is some improvement to the eyes. Med is miconidazole.
When I add water conditioner, how long should I wait for to add my Betta back in?
How often should I put Tetra dechlorinator into my 2.2 gallon fish tank with three guppies in it? I know the amount, I just need the best time in between please. Thank you!
We are new to having aquariums, we really didn't realize so many things played a factor with the water. We currently have a 10 gallon tank but want to increase to a 29 gallon tank. We currently buy gallons of water but with the 29 gallon tank we really don't want to have to do that. We have well water with a salt filter. My levels from to tap was nitrate 10, nitrite 0, hardness 0, chlorine 0, alk 100, ph 7.. is my tap water safe even with the salt filter.
Hello. I don't have water conditioner yet for my fish tank but may I add distilled water to the tank in the meantime?
My flowerhorn tanks water has exptremely high nitrate level . I returned from vacation yesterday to find a cloudy tank and high levels nitrate . I did a 50% water change and added prime . He now is gasping for air or at least that’s what it looks like and nitrates are still in the red . I was told to add aquarium salts and wait it out . I’m scared I’ll loose him . What should I do quarantine
Can use mineral water for aquarium. My tap water has lot of heavy metals. I have 10 galloon tank with 4 guppy 4 danio 1 silver dollar. 1silver dollar and 1 pleco died bcoz of 2 gold fish earlier in my tank. So i decided to use RO water. Can i use.
I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina
