GarlicGuard is an all natural garlic scented odor and flavor enhancer for freshwater and saltwater fish. Our research has shown that many fish are attracted to natural odors, such as garlic. Simply mix GarlicGuard with any food item, such as Seachem's NutriDiet Flakes, to attract the interest of finicky eaters, e.g. discus and marine angelfish. GarlicGuard is safe for reef and planted aquariums.

  • - Concentrated garlic supplement
  • - Enhances appetite
  • - Increases resistance to parasites and other diseases

Shake well before use. Soak food in GarlicGuard before feeding. Safe for use with medicated foods (to attract the interest of finicky eaters to the medicated food). For example, for enhanced effectiveness against Ich and other parasites use Seachem's Focus and MetroPlex as follows: Add 1 measure of MetroPlex to 1 measure of Focus per tablespoon of food. Completely soak this food mix in GarlicGuard, refrigerate, and feed once or twice daily for 1-2 weeks.

It doesnt really make the fish want to eat the food. There is no change which is important as fish that are sick usually need more nutrition. You can just soak the food in garlic and it would be better for the fish

Needed some food flavoring for some medication for sick fish, Seachem is the best, period! Petco carries their products, not only carries them but keeps them in stock, and all the same price as online mega stores... Way to Go PETCO!!!

Began adding this to the food I give my marine fish. They love it - which is great because a well nourished fish is less likely to get sick
