Flourish Iron is a highly concentrated (10,000 mg/L) ferrous iron gluconate supplement. Plants are able to easily derive a benefit from Flourish Iron because ferrous iron gluconate is already in the ferrous form so they do not expend energy reducing it. Despite what other manufacturers may intimate, gluconate is not harmful to plants or fish. In fact, ferrous gluconate is better suited to foliar feeding than is iron-EDTA, owing to the relatively weaker iron-gluconate bonding vs. iron_EDTA bonding. In addition, ferrous gluconate has the added bonus of being a source of carbon.

Use 1 capful (5 mL) for each 200 L (50 gallons) or as required to maintain about .10 mg/L iron. For smaller doses please note that each cap thread is about 1 mL. Use MultiTest: Iron test kit to monitor iron concentrations. Due to rapid utilization, test within 30 minutes. Use as needed to combat signs of iron deficiecy (usually seen in new growth) which include: chlorosis (yellowing) of tissue between veins and short and slender stems.

I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina
I have a black moor gold fish who has a severe case of Popeye I quarantined him in a separate , but I’m not sure what medication to use for him .
I just purchased imagitarium aquarium salt for my betta. I have never used aquarium salt before and It says on the label that I can combine it with sprinkling in a little bit of food once a day. Does this mean it is safe to add the salt in with my fish in the tank? What process should I take so he doesn't become overwhelmed? Also does this help prevent/get rid of fin rot? Thank you!
After using metronidazole 400mg×2 tablets in 75 litre aquarium tank, my two parrot fish has thread like some seeing near gills and genital area ? How to treat them ?
Hello i have a fish tank 45l with 11 fishes in it (Shubunkin , opaline gourami , honey gourami , trichogaster etc) . i added the fish a week ago and tested the water and it was fine.today i see that 2 of my Scalars aren't eating like everyone else , so i tested the water . Everything was fine except for Nitrite levels that was 3.0 - 5.0 ppm. I changed 25 % of the water and added Easy Life Filter Medium and after some hours i tested again the water quality and it was the same I also added salt
Is Grapefruit seed extract safe for cats (administered orally)?
Merrill ate poison garden dirt here at our low income apartment building---two months ago. We now completely avoid that garden. Since then i myself was poisoned by hateful neighbors and purchased Vitamin K because Vitamin K had a good effect on me in the past. this vitamin is water soluble, Each pill is 100 mcg and if it is permissable to give Merrill vitamin K at all, i'm sure the amount is a fraction of 100 mcg. i would be grateful for your opinion and response to this question.
what is the best way to control the ph in a discus tank?
8 week old puppy had HCT of 19%, had been dewormed few days earlier, started giving liquid iron and fortiflora, puppy is energetic, eating great, running around. However I haven’t seen much improvement in color. How long does it take for color to improve? I know I need to get tests done to distinguish between regenerative vs non regenerative, fecal float and smear were all negative. Did an additional drontal plus to see if anything was remaining. Just wondering when I should see an improvement
