Clarity is the ultimate clarifier for both fresh and saltwater. It employs an advanced polymeric flocculating agent that is both reef and plant safe. Clarity is the only clarifier on the market that does it all! Clarity will clear all types of clouding. Many companies manufacture multiple products to clear up each type of cloudiness and each different environment (e.g. freshwater, marine, reef, etc.). Some companies have developed products that will clear most types of cloudiness, but their application requires two separate bottles of product. Clarity contains compounds that will clear all types of cloudiness in all environments. Clarity contains both precipitating and flocculating agents in the same bottle, enabling all types of cloudiness to be removed in one dose. Upon adding Clarity to the water, you will see a cloudy haze begin to form. The water is filled with tiny pieces of floating matter that were not visible to the naked eye.

  • - Singular bacterial supplement for both fresh and saltwater systems
  • - Contains 4 unique strains of bacteria in spore state
  • - Reef and plant safe

Use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 80 L (20 gallons). In some situations the cloudiness may increase slightly after adding Clarity, however this is normal and is a sign that Clarity is actively working. Rapid clarification will follow. In the case of chemical or particulate clouding clean filter filter floss or cartridge after tanks clears. (Note: The 2 & 4 L container's cap is 10 mL)

⛔️Warning⚠️PLEASE READ before you buy‼️

⛔️Warning⚠️ Please read before you buy‼️This lowers the PH to 1-2 or even 3 levels so it could kill your fish!! I got this to clear up my 5 gallon tank and it works if you use it correctly. I used it a couple times and always use a drop less than what it ask since it’s strong and I noticed it clears up faster using a bit less. Also have a PH enhancer on hand! It lowers the PH and I read a review that it killed someone’s tetras. So I recommend taking out the fish if possible for a bit to do this or take out some water add the dose of clarity and then once you add it to the filter add a dose of your PH enhancer! If your PH is 7 or 8 it will lower to a 6 or 5!! After you let it cycle for 30 minutes to a hour or more if you’d like, I clean the filters since it gets rid of the yellow orange tint that this product has. I gave this 3 stars because it works if used correctly but then creates another problem with lowering the PH and it could kill your fish. I believe that this should have a warning that it lowers PH. This could work perfectly with someone that need to clear a cloudy tank and reduce PH.

I called and asked for a certain product, but after driving about 20 miles only to find out they did not have the product in stock. I probably will not visit those stores anymore.

An employee suggested using this to clear up my cloudy fish tank. The water tested fine. I have used clarity once, one of my fish died, and it did not clear up. I used it again two weeks later, the water is still cloudy, and another fish died. I’m very upset and wish I could just get this resolved

No, I do not recommend this product.

does it work for driftwood?

  1. Yes and no. Clarity is more for cloudy water. That being said, I have 6 paludariums all full of driftwood and the structures have been layered with dirt and silicone. Seachem purigen pillows are your best bet. Tannins were leaking in 2 of my tanks, water was very brown. Purigen cleared the tanks, crystal clear in 24 hours. Within the first 2 hours, the tank was already halfway clear. Even on a cloudy koi tank, purigen did its job. I will use this product for the rest of my tank days! Best product out there!

I bought this product today and it’s orange. Is it suppose to be orange in the bottle or clear?

  1.  It is normal for it to be a dark orange-ish color and when you put it into the water it will cause a cloudy haze where it is put in as it causes the particles in the water to begin flocking together so that it can be easily removed by a filter or other mechanical filtration.

Is safe for fish too? Can I apply it with the fish inside the aquarium?

  1. Yes
