Seachem Algae Pads are non-scratch algae pads for glass & acrylic. The melamine foam uses micro abrasive technology to easily remove algae from the sides of your aquarium. They are particularly effective at removing algae from scratches. They are chemically inert and do not use soaps or detergents. Their white color contrasts against dark algae making it easier to see when areas are fully clean.

THESE ARE SPONGES!!! NOT PADS

needed to clean algae off of the glass that was too small for a scraper, turns out, this is NOT a pad!! it is able to be squeezed and squished, but can not fit in small spaces if needed. if you needed to actually clean the glass in open areas, this will work just fine and is easy to rinse. but instead of dipping your hand in the tank, just get a magnetic scraper.
No, I do not recommend this product.
