The Scissortail Rasbora will make an awesome schooling fish. Their unique pattern is bound to impress. This little guy will thrive in aquariums with plants and drift wood, which will help stimulate their natural habitat. They prefer very clean water and lower pH to thrive and will display optimal coloration and health in a planted aquarium with soft substrate. The Scissortail has very small mouths and will need pellet and flake foods small enough. They are a smaller, non-boisterous fish, so they should be paired with other peaceful fish that make them feel safe and do not compete for food. They can be kept with larger cichlids with small mouths; such as discus. Consider a group of seven of these fish to be an absolute minimum as far as stocking goes.

Last Monday, I got 3 bleeding heart tetras. All seemed well. When I checked on the fish last evening, I noticed 1 of the bleeding heart tetras was missing her tail. I know she does not have fin rot, as her other fins look healthy. It didn't look infected, so I decided to let it heal on its own. When I woke up, she was floating on her back, I flipped her around and she was fine. Now the other 2 are fin nipping her and ganging up on her. I moved her to a small glass bowl, what now?
Why does my Betta fish have lines on his gills?
Hello! my tropic tetra fish, límon, has a cut out down the middle that I have not noticed before and her tail has a small cut too. she lives in a 10 gallon community tank with 3 more tropic tetras. none of her tank mates are aggressive. Does she have fin rot or some other disease? she gets regular water changes and has been acting completely normal. please send help!

Hello i have a fish tank 45l with 11 fishes in it (Shubunkin , opaline gourami , honey gourami , trichogaster etc) . i added the fish a week ago and tested the water and it was fine.today i see that 2 of my Scalars aren't eating like everyone else , so i tested the water . Everything was fine except for Nitrite levels that was 3.0 - 5.0 ppm. I changed 25 % of the water and added Easy Life Filter Medium and after some hours i tested again the water quality and it was the same I also added salt
I had one rosy Tetra for 2.5months till yesterday and on yesterday itself I added a pair of guppies and binos . I also added pebbles in my Fish tank yesterday. Today I was shocked to find out that my Rosy Tetra who was totally healthy till yesterday had it's tail fins slightly cut and wasn't looking as a good healthy Tetra. What is the cause for this? Is he injured or sick ? Please Give me a solution to this
Hi my betta has red patches at the edges of his fins. Also he can not use one of his front fins to swim. He can not swim straight. What should I do?
My male betta seems to be ill and I can’t find an aquatic vet. I think he has tail rot, but I’m not sure what else.
What is wrong with my Bettas end fins?
Betta fish is spending all day at the bottom corner of his tank and barely eating. He moves quickly when he does swim and his appearance seems fine
I have 2 salmenese tiger fish and two smaller fish in approximately 3.5 L bowl. I bought them on 1 April. 3 act normal but one act abnormal from first day. One salmenese tiger fish doesn't move much first it stayed at bottom now it's gapping at surface and if I try to catch to check it it goes down again. It's fins are turning red or I don't know if it already was. I don't understand how to help. Parents are out town so I can't go to shop. I am not sure if all are eating food.
Can a betta regrow an entire missing fin? I saw a female betta at the store who was in a community tank and her entire left fin was bitten off.
