My goldfish appears bloated
My new glofish shark has long, white, stringy poop hanging off its body. I may have overfed him his glofish flakes. Is he constipated or stressed from being in a new tank? I treated the water with Aqua SafeStart and EasyBalance. What can I do to get him to poop?
Two of our freshwater fish are acting oddly in the water. We did lose a few last night, due to an ammonia spike. We noticed some pale-colored, wormlike flesh dropping from the front area (between the mouth and front fins); this black Guppy is “wobbling” around... We also have an orange Molly fish that has been staying on the bottom, not eating or moving much. Attached are pics, for your review. I noticed bloat in my flowerhorn about two weeks ago. It was there when I fed him and went away when I didn't. So I treated him with Epsom salt soaked pellets, bloat was present then. Then I noticed white poop so I stopped feeding entirely and added metronidazole 400 to the tank. Didn't work as I only saw white poop, so I added the medication into his food and now I can see brown poop hanging from a clear poop sticking out of his butt. Earlier the poop didn't stick out of his butt. What to do?
