The Saddled Endlicheri Bichir is a handsome carnivorous fish that can reach an impressive length of 2 feet and 6 inches. Considered semi-aggressive, P.edlicheri will consume any tank mate that'll fit in its mouth, but is quite passive with other larger fishes. Avoid overly aggressive tank mates, however, as this fish is easily dominated. The Saddled Endlicheri Bichir would do well with larger cichlids, catfishes, arowanas or stingrays. Make sure to equip your tank with a well-fitting lid, as this bichir will show off his land-breathing abilities by jumping straight out of his aquatic residency! If you opt to enjoy the unique presence of the Saddled Endlicheri Bichir in your freshwater aquarium, offer a mix of live and frozen meaty foods along with large carnivore specific pellets.

We recently bought a Betta from a chain store pet shop. He is currently in a 10 gallon tank with a heater. He’s been eating and swimming around, acting fine. The first day we had him I noticed this bump. (Didn’t notice in the petstore but hard to see in those cups they keep them in) Here’s a side shot. Looks like one tiny fluid filled bump, size of a scale. Any ideas?
My fish is laying down at the bottom of the tank.
I have a female fish cichlid that has a hole in her back by her tail is it a parasite or bad fin rot (body rot) I'm afraid if left unchecked it will go straight through to the other side of her body
what kind of fish are these? and would they be good with a male betta
I recently observed that my new Betta's rear end is swollen, the swelling is more prominent on left but is visible from both sides. Could this be a serious problem?
Hey so I brought my daughter a few guppies not knowing they were going to breed anyway one ended up being really fat and my daughter put it in another tank and it gave birth. There now a month old and I looked at them closely and it turns out two of them have bent back but they are swimming around on the top eating fine at they look totally fine, do you think they would be in pain? Should I put them in a different tank? Will they survive to adulthood? Or should I get rid of them?
my convict cichlid is really sick he has a bent back anda cant swim right in the picture he has blood onon the side he cant keep under water what is wrong with him would swim bladder cause this or septuseamen
I have 2 salmenese tiger fish and two smaller fish in approximately 3.5 L bowl. I bought them on 1 April. 3 act normal but one act abnormal from first day. One salmenese tiger fish doesn't move much first it stayed at bottom now it's gapping at surface and if I try to catch to check it it goes down again. It's fins are turning red or I don't know if it already was. I don't understand how to help. Parents are out town so I can't go to shop. I am not sure if all are eating food.
My Ranchu Goldfish’s belly is bulging more than normal, especially on the right side. Any clue what may be causing this.
