The Royal Flasher Wrasse has exquisite coloration, hardiness and high activity levels that make them very desirable in the aquarium hobby. When beginning a new aquarium, the Carpenter's Wrasse can live in groups and should be the fish added last because they tend to be harassed by other fish, furthermore the female should be added before the males for the same reason. The males are slightly larger and females are paler. Their color will deepen and flash during courtship. It is strongly advised that the aquarium has s tight fitting lid because they are known to jump out. Their diet should include frozen meaty foods like brine shrimp, marine pellets and flakes. This wrasse has a high metabolism so they should be fed several small meals rather than two large meals a day. They have a small adult size of 3" which is another reason why they are so desirable. Their coloration is primarily orange with blue and red horizontal stripes and a yellow/pink underside.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.
If we need to contact you for any reason about your order, shipping of your package may be affected. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order summary. Orders are subject to verification of payment information by phone or email. We ship for arrival to the customer Tuesday through Friday and Saturday for an extra charge where available.

I have an angelfish and a red tail shark in a 15 gallon tank for about 4 days and they get along great. The angel fish has been almost swimming kind of lazy like almost floating and then will swim when off balance. And belly kinda looks swollen as well as eyes. And my red tail shark seems to have a gray patch on it's side and not swimming as active as he was. Either hides in the back of tank or in a house for hours.

Male sulcatas flash their penises. A friend said his female sulcata flashed her parts. Apparently it's been to a vet who said she flushed what's like a hemipenis. I'm concerned it is a uterine prolapse. My question is, can females flash?
I have bought 2 parrot cichlids about 20 days ago. One of the parrot fish is constantly hiding behind the filter. Eating well but when it comes out to swim the other parrot fish keeps pinching it and doesn't allow to it to move around in the tank. I don't understand the problem. Please suggest what to do. Also the color of the fish is bit dull as compared to other one.
