My girl Pepper has been on this food for almost a year now and has lost 10 lbs. We had her first on the RC Weight Care (non prescription) and she was so itchy! Our vet decided to put her on this one and her fur is SO shiny and no more itchiness. My in-laws were a little too treat heavy, so she was almost 40lbs! We have a few more pounds to go but so far we have liked how she has lost weight steadily. She is real quick to fluctuate so we are just so happy that her hips and joints will be much happier with the continued weight loss. We also use the wet food to pair it and are mindful of treats that we give her too (we cut the existing treats to smaller pieces to still "reward" her but minimize the calorie intake.
