My 10 yr old lab lost 6 lbs when taken off dry food. He gets homecooked. Alternating between lean ground beef, turkey, white meat chicken. Veggies Sweet potatoes, yellow squash, green beans. He was a perfect weight. Elimating 1 cup of dry food per day added to homecooked was meant to be a healthy choice not for weight loss. Vet wants him to put the weight back. What can I add in, read that organic brown rice and Quinoa is not good daily and high in Phosphorus. Suggestions thx
Our 1 1/2 year old female ragdoll feline started loosing patches of fur for last 2 weeks. No scabs/raw spots on skin. Vetinarian concludes not fleas or ringworm. No known environmental changes or new house products. Now starting Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for 2-3 weeks in case it's food allergies. It's $50 for 7.7 lbs. What do you do for a Newfoundland mix puppy who is 20 pounds under weight, his vet wants him to be 80 something at his age but he is 61 pounds! I wanna feed him Royal Canin Giant Breed Puppy Food.
