Veterinarian authorized products ship only after Petco receives an authorization from your vet. We will not need to reach out to your vet or you if the authorization includes refills. When all available refills are used or the authorization expires, we will reach out to your vet to obtain a new authorization. For new authorizations, we will attempt to reach your vet for a total of 5 days. If your vet does not respond within 5 days, we will then reach out to you for a total of 3 days. If no response is given, the order will then be canceled.

Excellent for Dogs with Pancreatitis

We finally found something that has helped 2 of my Welsh Terriers who have pancreatitis. They LOVE it and are doing excellent on it. I add a little water with it to make is mushy.

This dog food smells awful and has a goopy texture, but my dog LOVES it! Her health has improved greatly since switching to this food to help her pancreatitis. It works!

I have no way to rate the nutritional value of this product or its ingredients. I can however rate the taste based on the way my dog looks st me when I put it down in front of him. The look says “Why do you hate me?” as he walks away.

Our little guy Puddles, has all kinds of problems, so the doctor put him on this food. He loves it and it helps his skin issues and is easily digested.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dalmatian is on veterinary dry kibble, due to his history of bladder stones. He didn't like the plain kibble with added water, so my vet suggested adding the Royal Canin Veterinary Vegetarian to increase his water intake with low purines. He absolutely loves the added canned food and his urine specific gravity improved from this food addition. I have also seen an improvement with his coat since I added the Royal Canin to his meals. Very pleased with the outcome.
