Description

Founded by a veterinarian, Royal Canin has over 40 years experience in Health Nutrition. Our work with veterinarians, pet nutritionists, breeders and cat professionals from around the world has provided us with knowledge about the specific nutritional requirements of cats. This knowledge has allowed us to formulate the precise diet for your cat's special needs.

  • - Relative Supersaturation (RSS) methodology predicts the crystallization potential of urine. RSS is used to develop diets for cats prone to both struvite and oxalate urolithiasis
  • - Formulated with a special blend of fibers to promote satiety and reduce the spontaneous consumption of food

Helps keep my cat healthy and stress free

Maryncats

My cat had idiopathic cystitis. He was so close to death. Fortunately between the pet ER and my own vet, he made a full recovery. To help maintain his urinary tract and stress levels, my vet recommended the Urinary SO . Since using, my cat has become calmer and has had no recurring issues. So glad Royal Canin makes it.

Feeding both cats. One cat overweight and crystal problems. Expensive but so far it’s been working. Will follow up with review in a years time or sooner if it does not working. But so far after 3 months very happy with eliminating crystals and curving begging for more food.

Resealable bags are cheaply made!

The last 3 bags I have purchased have had a broken seal for the resealable part of it. Very disappointed considering the food spoils if not sealed and then my cat wont eat it. I have purchased both the SO bag and the Satiety/SO bag and both were defective.

My cats love it....

Although I only gave 4 stars this brand works well. Since the new ingredients have been introduced into the food, my cats were getting sick frequently. I then reduced the servings and now there is like no vomiting. I still give them the recommended amount but feedings are a little more frequent throughout the day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my cat (Adult Male named Willie) is on this special diet prescription cat food for the last two years. It is expensive but has helped him lose weight from 18LB to 9.5LB. It has helped him with his urinary track issues. High Ash and he is not quite satiated. He will cry for more after eating his portions.
