Our 1 1/2 year old female ragdoll feline started loosing patches of fur for last 2 weeks. No scabs/raw spots on skin. Vetinarian concludes not fleas or ringworm. No known environmental changes or new house products. Now starting Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for 2-3 weeks in case it's food allergies. It's $50 for 7.7 lbs. Is there a less expensive equivalent Purina or other brand?? Thanks from Florida.
What is the best choice between Purina Pro Plan, Royal Canin, Hills Science Diet puppy small bites/breed? Mila is underweight and I would like the BEST choice that our vet recommends.
my dog have a very sensitive stomache, I just been to the vet and the vet has given him Royal Canin Dog Food Sensitivity Control (wet) for a week observation which seems very good to him and no more diareer and vomit. As the existing dog food (dry) might be unsuitable for his stomache, I want to ask is there any other similar type of dog food (wet) which has similar ingredients as Canin Dog Food Sensitivity Control that I can replace with?
Hi how would you compare blue buffalo Rx diet HF hydrolyzed canned food to hills Z/d hydrolyzed rx canned diet? Trying to find an alternative to royal Canin Selected protein Rx diets which Trixie will no longer eat .. nor does she like the hills z/d. Thanks
I wanted to know if Royal Canin Giant Puppy Dry Dog Food is good for pups? I have a dog and he was going through weird things with food and poop and lack of appetite. But his vet said he was healthy but needed to gain weight. What’s the best method for a 6 month old puppy to gain weight but not grow too fast? Also my dogs beard is smelly because sometimes it gets wet and we dry it but it smells like mildew! Also he has hot spots and chewing paws and it can be flaky on the spots but no red skin.
5 1/2 month old puppy got sick (vomit and diarrhea) two weeks ago from what we assume was his Fromm formula food. Switched from non-grain to with grain and got sick again. Vet had him on chicken and rice for a week and then we have him currently on RC Hydrolyzed Protein food.. lab tests normal, no blockages... got sick again last night. Any recommendations on diet? Vet says it is likely food related but not sure. Is this just trial and error at this point? Still has great energy and playfulness.
My 2 yo Lab/Ridgeback is 86 lbs yes overweight and has a urine ph of 5. I have her on grain free Taste of the Wild venison/buffalo 2.5 cups daily. Without spending $80.00 for a 17 lb bag of Royal Canin So , what dry food or treatments might you recommend for Rylee?
Diet plan for my puppy
which dog food is the best for my dog with allergies and an enlarged heart
My puppy had a really bad food allergy reaction a couple of months ago she was having nonstop diarrhea. We determined it was a food allergy and she started royal Cancun’s hydrolyzed protein. Unfortunately now she’s developed an allergy to this food as well and she’s been ripping out her fur. Her diarrhea just came back this morning. No vet is willing to help me right now and I need to know what food I can give her because the poor girl is hungry. Last time boiled chicken was an issue. Help?
Can a puppy have a food that's 22% protein? Is this high enough? I don't have a puppy right now but I like the brand I'm using so I wanted to know if I could feed that to a puppy in the future. It says it's for puppies it's by natural balance.
What would be the best wet dog food for her weighing 3.3 lbs. 4 years and has Periodontal desease? And can I purchase at Petco or Petsmart? Thank you
