Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Hydrolyzed Protein Puppy Dry Dog Food supports GI and dermatological health (for puppies from 6 months and adult weight greater than 9 lb (4 kg) to adulthood). The highly palatable formula helps support gastrointestinal and dermatological health with hydrolyzed protein, composed of low molecular weight peptides that can be absorbed in the digestive tract. EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids support healthy skin and digestion. Plus, the adapted kibble size is tailored for smaller puppy jaws.

Our 1 1/2 year old female ragdoll feline started loosing patches of fur for last 2 weeks. No scabs/raw spots on skin. Vetinarian concludes not fleas or ringworm. No known environmental changes or new house products. Now starting Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for 2-3 weeks in case it's food allergies. It's $50 for 7.7 lbs. Is there a less expensive equivalent Purina or other brand?? Thanks from Florida.
Hi how would you compare blue buffalo Rx diet HF hydrolyzed canned food to hills Z/d hydrolyzed rx canned diet? Trying to find an alternative to royal Canin Selected protein Rx diets which Trixie will no longer eat .. nor does she like the hills z/d. Thanks
5 1/2 month old puppy got sick (vomit and diarrhea) two weeks ago from what we assume was his Fromm formula food. Switched from non-grain to with grain and got sick again. Vet had him on chicken and rice for a week and then we have him currently on RC Hydrolyzed Protein food.. lab tests normal, no blockages... got sick again last night. Any recommendations on diet? Vet says it is likely food related but not sure. Is this just trial and error at this point? Still has great energy and playfulness.
What would be the best wet dog food for her weighing 3.3 lbs. 4 years and has Periodontal desease? And can I purchase at Petco or Petsmart? Thank you
Hi, what is the best puppy food for my 5-month-old puppy? He seems to have a sensitive stomach. Had mild diarrhea almost constantly with Diamond puppy food and then we switched to Taste of the Wild he vomited and horrible diarrhea. We went to chicken and rice, was great with firm poops, now we are transitioning to Wellness puppy chicken, and diarrhea is starting again.
Is Purina pro plan a good food for French bulldogs? Lou is on royan canin gastrointestinal low fat after a case of colitis. It’s time to transition him to something else and I’m looking to change his food. He would only eat pure balance wet food after his ivdd surgery but I don’t think it’s the best and it’s sometimes hard to find. Any advice
What do you do for a Newfoundland mix puppy who is 20 pounds under weight, his vet wants him to be 80 something at his age but he is 61 pounds! I wanna feed him Royal Canin Giant Breed Puppy Food. (he’s more Newfoundland) plus it seems like Bear is having food allergies to chicken cause of itching and biting and scratching and was having more stools and or loose stools. Also his beard smells like mildew from him drinking water all the time ! Is it fungal?
Whats best dog food w/ zero chicken (no by product etc? has IBD (via ultrasound&GI Panel-no scope) We’ve tried almost all IBD vet food (RC HP, RC low fat GI, Hills...) I have researched & doc. his symps. For a year now &95% positive hes having (bloating after eating, licking/biting paws, loud bowel sounds all worse after eating, normal poop, no vomit)from a food allergy. He’s on pred & meds. Im going to do elimating diet but I want to find food w/no chicken to start off w/during this process
I’m getting my dog off a special bland diet slowly onto Royal Canin Giant Breed Puppy Food. Which I wanted to ask is it a good food and recommended for a Newfoundland Mix. I know he had stomach problems and stopped eating dry food no matter how many switches we did and even mixing it with wet food I’m scared when i transition he won’t eat again. What can I do to make sure during his transition that he likes the food. Also is his poop okay and normal cause I’ve been adding the food.
35 lb 5 month boxer. How much food/day? Currently eating petco brand puppy formula
I have a 5 year old, 75lb Catahoula leopard mix. He doesn't seem to like any dog food. Ever since he had a liver issue a year ago, he's been weird with eating. Before he would gulp his food down. He also seems to have a sensitive stomach now. I've tried merrick LI with goats milk and crumpled treats on top. It worked at first very well but now he doesn't want it. I've tried a different, more palatable, Elm in 3 flavors-lamb duck and salmon. Doesn't want any of them. Warm water doesn't work ether
What type of food should I feed a 2+ year old English Bulldog w/sensitive skin issues due to allergens?
