WARNING!!!!

Gioo

If I could give it 0 stars I would. This food made my complete healthy dog develop pancreatitis. My vet prescribed me this food to see if my dog had a food allergy because of skin/itchiness. The first day of feeding my dog this food he was excessively drinking water every 5 minutes which was very alarming to me. As weeks go by he’s starts excessively stretching. Comes to find out he has pancreatitis when he was completely healthy before starting this food. DONT feed your dog this food this is a WARNING. I will be posting about this food all over platforms to warn every single pet owner!

Mondo has been on HP diet since he was a puppy and this is by far his favorite brand, glad we switched. We had to top other kibble to entice him but he eats this one up.

Great for food allergies!

Zivas Mom

My GSD has been on this food for at least 4 years due to allergies to poultry. She loves it and even plays with it before eating! There have only been a few times when I ran out of her food before the next shipment came and had to find a replacement at the pet store. I definitely noticed a difference for those couple of days she was on something else (ie bowel movements and consistency). I will continue to keep her on this food. It might be expensive, but it is definitely worth it!

I purchased this food as a last resort to help my Bull Terrier with severe skin allergies secondary to food. I wish I had bought it first!! My dog LOVES this food and I love that we have absolutely no more skin issues! If you are not sure if this food is right for your dog I advise you to please give it a try! I will never buy another food or another brand. Thank you for saving my best friend!

I have a 2 year old Goldendoodle that has always been a finicky eater. I have never seen him more excited to eat before. He has a very sensitive stomach, itchy skin and persistent licking. So far so good with this food.

my dog has allergies and his snot gets produced at a higher rate, this food is suppose to be a food that is limited ingredients for allergies. The dog food is $100.00 a bag, and the dog food is very small in size. I can get a similar dog food from another brand for half the cost. My vet wants me to keep trying the food to see if it works, but every day it gets worse. NO dog food is worth the same amount as someones paycheck.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Are all of these "hydrolyzed protein treats"?

What is difference between  the ps and hp

    1. The HP is hydrolyzed soy and rice and the PS is hydrolyzed soy and potato

How do I get this dog food?

    1. You need to have a prescription from your vet. When you order the food online, you have to fill out your vet’s information and petco will call/fax them to confirm the prescription. If you think you need the dog food, take your dog to the vet first to see if they actually need it. Your dog may or may not actually have food sensitivities and there is no point in getting ridiculously expensive special food if they don’t need it.

Does anyone know what happened to the Canine Ultamino kibble?  Has this food replaced it??

    1. The Ultamino and Hydrolyzed Protein PS are two seperate formulas. The Ultamino is still being produced
