The formula was changed on this prescription dog food without any warning label or notice to the customer. Be aware because it gave my dog severe diarrhea.

This food had the adverse affect for my diabetic dog. We had to finally take him off of it and go to a more holistic food that he is doing great on.

I want the old formula back

Ever since they changed the formula, my dog still like the food but she is gassy and having frequent soft stool. I did the slow transition to the new formula. I bought another bag just to make sure the first new formula bag isn’t spoiled. Even after a few weeks of giving the second bag of new formula, my dog is not getting better.

Formula changed

The formula changed and now my dog won’t eat it. Also, there are more calories. Why do companies feel the need to change formulas’s content when we are having success with it.

2 year old diabetic Cattle Dog

My cattle dog has been on this for a little over a year. She was diagnosed diabetic after her spay surgery. We've had issues regulating her sugar and this food seemed to be the only thing to work. However, the price has skyrocketed since she started on it which left me searching for other options. Ive found a cheaper over the counter food which works just as well for her. It definitely took some trial and error but it was worth it. Her sugar also seems to be lower off of this food which is definitely interesting. So overall I would say this food is worth a shot if you're having trouble regulating your dogs sugar. But don't feel like a overpriced prescription food is your only choice.
