Which dry food is best for an indoor, seven year old cat, low in calories?
I need a canned cat food that has protein and fiber for my constipation prone cat, any suggestions. She eats royal canin dry food now (fiber response)
Our 1 1/2 year old female ragdoll feline started loosing patches of fur for last 2 weeks. No scabs/raw spots on skin. Vetinarian concludes not fleas or ringworm. No known environmental changes or new house products. Now starting Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for 2-3 weeks in case it's food allergies. It's $50 for 7.7 lbs. Is there a less expensive equivalent Purina or other brand?? Thanks from Florida.
My 8yr old cat eats only blue buffalo and I need Can food that is good for his body because he indpppr and outdoor life that loves to hunt and exploring so he has high energy but like him to be calmer any food from blue buffalo you know it’s best what food can u tell me
13 y/o male cat with hyperthyroidism. Need recommendation for affordable dry cat food.
My cat is a 10 year old male who used to eat mostly store brand wet food. The vet found crystals in his urine and prescribed him dry prescription food for urinary care. He’s very long and it was recommended that his weight should be about 12 lbs. A year ago he was 14 lbs, and since switching to this all dry diet, he’s up to 15.5 lbs after a year. I’m increasingly worried about his weight. Is it ok to feed him a combination of wet and dry food for urinary care AND weight loss of the same brand?
We have 1 1/2yr old Ragdoll female. At a steady 8.6 pounds/small frame. Area in front of back legs seems a little skinny. A couple of internet sites seems to suggest IAMS Proactive Health, Healthy Kittens is ok for adults to gain weight in view of it's extra protein and fat. Is that ok for 8.6 lb female.
DRY FOOD RECOMMENDATION for 2 health Issues: Raised skin-scab bumps and past history with crystals in urine; Royal Canin, Hills or Purina? Presently I am using a Grain Free, Holistic Limited Ingredient dog food.
My vet diagnosed my 11 year old cat with IBD and put her on a RX diet of Royal Canine Select Protein and a steroid cream. I have 2 other cats and feeding them all the Royal Canine is out of my budget, and I haven't had much luck feeding them separately. I was comparing ingredients between the Royal Canine and Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diet cat food and they appear to be almost identical. I ultimately will do whatever is best for Ethel, I just wanted to know if Natural Balance would work
I have a cat that is a large cat about 25 lb. Is there something I can give the cat so that going to the vet would not be so stressful on her
Senior Ferrel cat is getting thin and not eating as much. Appears to be getting thin and losing muscle mass, trouble climbing fence. Unable to approach, but comes by twice a day. looking for a food that may help.
Hi there. I was thinking about switching my cat to a better quality food. I know the first at least 3 ingredients should be chicken, chicken meal etc vs corn or grains. My cat is 20lbs. Vet told me he should be 16lbs & be on a low fat diet. I don't think his purina pro plan weight mgmt is helping anymore. Fat is 12.5% max in that food. But other foods have more fat. I wonder if a grain free diet would help keep him full longer? How many calories/cups a day he should eat? Worried about weightgain
