We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet's digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

The best food for small dog 5 month, morkie 2 pounds
My miniature schnauzer is 14 years old. We have tried 2 different dry foods for her and she is still not losing weight. She weighs 28 lbs. We are currently feeding her Royal Canin for miniature schnauzers. We had tried Natures Choice pumpkin flavor with veggies. Help what can we feed her?

Best dog food for small not active 10/1/2 yr old Chin
I have recently adopted a dog. He is a mixed breed-shepard. At 6 months he weighed 50 pounds and he is currently going on 8 months old. I’ve been feeding him the Merrick grain free puppy beef and sweet potato all breed food. The kibble is small. He is getting 4 cups a day. He’s still skinny and eats it quickly. is there a more suited food for him? And when should I transition him to adult food?
So he’s had two physicals last year, the first one he was 8.6 pounds and then the second he was 8.2 pounds. He’s lost a lot of weight and I feel like he’s still too skinny and we’ve switched between like four different dog food and he doesn’t seem to have an appetite. He eats a little bit but I was wondering if there is anything I can do to help him eat more and gain his healthy weight back. Right now he’s eating Caesar dry filet mignon flavour dog food.
What is the best food for a 7 to 8 year old pitbull mix who has trouble keeping weight on when price is also an issue?
I have a 9 week old male golden retriever, mom is 50lbs, dad is 58lbs and the breeder has him on Purina Puppy, which I want to change him off of as fast as possible. Out of the three, which BB food is best? 1)Freedom Puppy Chicken Recipe Grain-Free Dry Dog Food 2)Life Protection Chicken & Rice Puppy or 3)Life Protection Chicken & Rice Puppy Large Breed?
