We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet's digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

My pet 30 days not gaining weight.. feeding royal canin.. little over feed make him diarriah
I have a 5 year old, 75lb Catahoula leopard mix. He doesn't seem to like any dog food. Ever since he had a liver issue a year ago, he's been weird with eating. Before he would gulp his food down. He also seems to have a sensitive stomach now. I've tried merrick LI with goats milk and crumpled treats on top. It worked at first very well but now he doesn't want it. I've tried a different, more palatable, Elm in 3 flavors-lamb duck and salmon. Doesn't want any of them. Warm water doesn't work ether
lg mixed bred puppy 8 mos 50lbs got from shelter 10/11/16 & not a good eater dry or wet. Should I mix wet food to encourage him to eat?? also he has dry skin & read he need more proteins. Thanks for your assistance!!
My dog 4 months old gets diarrhea from eating Merrick real lamb wet a tablespoon ( limited diet) and Merrick salmon dry. But when I gave him pasta and mashed potatoes for 2 days very little diarrhea left and bi gas and no stomach churning and noises? Any suggestions? He is a cane corso Labrador mix
This is Kyro, my 1st dog I've had for 7 months. In 7 months he went from 75lbs to 85. Was feeding 2 cups twice daily of "Diamond All Natural Beef Meal & Rice" with piece of Roast Beef with a teaspoon of some kind of gravy & 1 Milkbone, 1 bully stick, 2 Grain fee treats daily. I cut back to 1 cup with Roast beef twice daily. I don't want to starve him but I want to keep his defined stomach. He won't eat unless the Roast beef & gravy is in his food. Bag of food says 4 cups daily. Any suggestions?
I’m getting my dog off a special bland diet slowly onto Royal Canin Giant Breed Puppy Food. Which I wanted to ask is it a good food and recommended for a Newfoundland Mix. I know he had stomach problems and stopped eating dry food no matter how many switches we did and even mixing it with wet food I’m scared when i transition he won’t eat again. What can I do to make sure during his transition that he likes the food. Also is his poop okay and normal cause I’ve been adding the food.
Dear team I am giving my puppy Royal canin puppy maxi. I would like to ask whether i have to provide him multi vitamins tablets or calcium tablets or both alongwith this dry food? Please find attached herewith details of nutrients of this feed for your ready reference.
