I purchased 2 royal canin Persian dry food bags in the past 2 weeks and I can’t find the expiration date on the package. Was the expiration information moved from the bottom/back of the bag? That section is completely blank on my packages. Why?

- Royal Canin is the best around. I have a long haired Persian Himi and it is the only thing she eats. Get the Persian 30 formula. They also have it for kittens.

- Not worth it! Royal Canin now (as of Fall 2013) uses Chicken by-products (feet, beaks, etc.) as their primary ingredient, which means it is not longer a healthy product for your pet! Seek out a natural cat food that has those features you are interested in. Good luck!

We have 1 1/2yr old Ragdoll female. At a steady 8.6 pounds/small frame. Area in front of back legs seems a little skinny. A couple of internet sites seems to suggest IAMS Proactive Health, Healthy Kittens is ok for adults to gain weight in view of it's extra protein and fat. Is that ok for 8.6 lb female.

My 16 yr old Persian cat was recently diagnosed w/kidney disease. Doc prescribed Hill's Kidney Care. I've been trying to give the canned version for the first time ever because of dehydration. I adopted 2 Kittens ( 10 weeks old now ). The previous owners were feeding them Royal Canin Persian Adult food, Me-O Chicken & Veggies along with Royal Canin Kitten Instinctive food. Should I switch I've the Kittens to all kitten food from Royal Canin. Personally I would prefer giving the Kittens all Natural food. What is the recommended food quantity and food type I should give them daily. One of the Kittens stools is not firm(Dry) it's a little wet and loses shape when picked up. Is this ok?

My cat is a 10 year old male who used to eat mostly store brand wet food. The vet found crystals in his urine and prescribed him dry prescription food for urinary care. He’s very long and it was recommended that his weight should be about 12 lbs. A year ago he was 14 lbs, and since switching to this all dry diet, he’s up to 15.5 lbs after a year. I’m increasingly worried about his weight. Is it ok to feed him a combination of wet and dry food for urinary care AND weight loss of the same brand?
