We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet's digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

- CoralReefer, Thank you for your question. When choosing a skimmer for your aquarium we do recommend going with the one that is rated for your size of aquarium. The Innovative Marine Aqua Gadget SkimMate Ghost Recirculating Protein Skimmer is rated for a 40 gallon aquarium and may not work properly for your 45 gallon aquarium. Unfortunately, we are not sure if this will fit in your aquarium, as it does depend on the dimensions of the chamber in your aquarium. This item measures 3.62" x 3.07" x 11.22" high, and will fit an opening around this size.

Does this is fit in first chamber of bicube 29 coral life version
- The 7203 was designed for optimal use within our Nano16, FUSION Nano 10g & 20g. Now with that said I have seen it used in other AIOs. In order for the Ghost Skimmer to function properly in a back chamber of an AIO it needs to be placed where the water level does not raise above the built in silencer box. I have attached an image for your customer to see the required water level. We have also attached an image of how to achieve this in the back of a 29g Bio Cube. With a simple MagFloat algae scrubber you can modify the Ghost Skimmer to work within the Bio Cube and achieve the proper water level.
