[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hear a lot of good things about this brand. My dog is a small bread mixed Chihuahua and miniature doberman pincher and also a very picky eater. He can't chew (most of his teeth have fallen out sadly). I blended this kibble to a powder and mixed it with water to make a mush that is easier for him to eat and he ate it right up. Defiantly a new brand to keep in rotation when we finish the brand he is currently on already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Royal Canin Canine Care Nutrition Small Weight Care Dry Dog Food in the 2.5lb size has truly impressed me. The tailored formula addresses the specific needs of small breeds, promoting a healthy weight without compromising on nutrition. My dog not only loves the taste, but I've also noticed a positive change in his weight management since switching to this food. The kibble size is perfect for smaller mouths, and the ingredients list reflects a commitment to quality. It's evident that Royal Canin prioritizes the well-being of our furry friends. If you're seeking a reliable and effective solution for weight care in small dogs, this dry dog food is a solid choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Royal Canin Small Weight Care Adult Dry Dog Food for Small Breeds must have been tasty because our dog loved it. He couldn’t even tell it was formulated for small breed dogs that may be slightly over weight. Pieces are small for small mouth dogs just what he likes. We’d recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product as the owner of three chiwawas that may be a little over weight lol this was just what I was looking for. They absolutly love it and it is so filling they are not begging me to feed them again as they do with other dog foods. I really like the small bite size pieces and believe it is easier. For them to eat. I definitely would recommend.

I have a toy (teacup) poodle and she is 14 months old. She has been eating Royal canin indoor small puppy, & the adult version is unavailable. Is it ok to feed her this Vs the mini version of this food they make for smaller breeds? Thanks

  1. Please contact us through email for best assistance.

How is this different from the Adult small breed dry dog food? I’m trying to decide when I transition my 17 month old 12 lb Maltipoo from the small breed puppy dry food.

  1. I think it’s more for weight management . My maltipoo is 8 and she has eaten it. Only food brand I have used is royal canin. She pretty much stays the same weight and has liked any flavor I have fed her
