We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet's digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

How much would you feed a 9 pound Italian greyhound. She seems very hungry with the 1/4 cup for breakfast... was thinking 1/2 cup for the day may be too little?
- I feed my 9 pound terrier mix 1/2 cup and 1/2 cup pm. We usually leave it out all day because he is more of a grazer and likes to snack.

Is there any canned (wet) food that anyone would recommend for mixing with this kibble? I have the pickiest of ALL dogs possible! Very frustrating because it has to taste good or my 19 lb Hava-poo won't touch it!

Has anyone had problems with skin allergies in dogs since they changed the fromula?
- You should try Innova brand products. My 14 year old Springer Spaniel had terrible allergies. This product solved the problem! Another product is California Natural.....but Petco does not carry it.

How long will a bag of 3 pounds last with one dog?
- depends on weight of your dog. My overweight dachshund and my 3lb chihuahua share a small bag and it will last about 3 weeks. So if your dog eats about 1.5 cups a day you will get anywhere from 2-4 weeks from one bag. Hope That helped!
