On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. Great quality food

My new pup loves this food and I know it is a high quality brand. My goal is to start him out well so he will get the most out of his growth period before he moves on to the Royal Canin adult version.

Yes, I recommend this product.

POOR NUTRITION FOR OUR DOGS. Chicken BY PRODUCTS as the FIRST in gradient is NOT the best nutrition for our dogs ! PLEASE CHANGE THE RECIPE - we are leaving our kennel of dogs to another feed.

Questions

Is the 17 pounds resealable?

  1. Yes, the 17# bags have a zipper seal

My puppy is on another brand she seems to have a lot of gas and loose stools, will this food correct those two issues?

  1. I'd first check with her vet for advice. Has she been de-wormed? If there are not medical issues, and nobody is feeding her food scraps, then trying another puppy food is a good idea. I find this one is very well tolerated by all of my foster puppies. Petco staff can help you select a good puppy kibble- any that carries the AAFCO feeding statement and that she likes should be fine.
