We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. Royal Canin was delivered to our home, quickly and by a very pleasant young lady.

The dog food is great and recommend it highly! My problem is Petco, I had repeat delivery and the food wasn’t delivered. It is “ in progress” with no delivery date scheduled. I tried to cancel but the third party customer service said it can’t be cancelled. So I can’t cancel it and Petco can’t tell me if or when I will get the food! So I had no choice but to buy locally, so I paid twice to a total of $200! I am retired and on a fixed income. They say when I get the bag I can take it back to the store for a refund, if it hasn’t shipped why can’t I cancel it! Petco lost a customer, the third party customer service is terrible!
