Good food, terrible packaging

ChicoATX

My dog has thrived on this food and I really like it; however, my gripe is with the bag. First, I wish they sold a 17 lb option of the 5+ food. Second, the ziplock on the bag always gives out on our bags, without fail. Either make snake bags available or work on the quality of the ziplock.

Excellent dog food......!

Switched from Royal Canin for GSD's to this one as my dog is now 6 years old......and he loves it...would Wolf it down, if I would let him....! His coat appears better looking, his poop is firm, he is very active, runs like a Banshee.....and is happy....in his endeavors. (And I am not compensated for this review). He is healthy, he is happy, and I am glad. His breeder started him off on Diamond dog food...and all of his dogs seem to do well on that......I went to my Vet, and was told to do my own investigation/research and check out various brands, quantities, etc. and to re-contact the Vet with questions, comments....! Did so, tried this food.....and it works for us....! It is available in locations close by, and Chewy also stocks it. Count us as very satisfied consumers. (My Rescue Border Collie even sneaks some of his food too...Ha Ha....) and she is a picky eater. My advice is to read/research.....and communicate with your Vets, and make an informed decision.....and if your dogs eat it, enjoy it,and have NO issues.....get it....or whatever brand YOU prefer, can afford. I love my pets...and want them to have wonderful lives.....!

Help me understand

I walk into Petco, buy a bag of dog food and pay x dollars. I order online, an employee retrieves the food, places in a locker with my name and I save 10%. Same as above except now Petco hires someone to deliver it to my house 12 miles away and for this service I save 20%. Whoever thought up this buisness model is clearly smarter that I. And I won't be tempted to purchase other items while browsing in the store.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My dogs love it! We mixed it with the older brand to introduce it to our dogs, they picked out the Royal Canin and left the old brand behind.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My GSD loves this kibble

My 8 year old GSD loves this kibble. I add a large spoonful of canned pumpkin to his 2+ cups at each meal. His stools are solid and well formed. I am pleased this kibble is now consistently available at Petco.

No, I do not recommend this product.
