Not for picky Labrador

Gail

Very disappointed in this dog food. It was said to be for a picky Labrador. Our Lab turned her nose up at it and now I’m stuck with a 30 pound bag. Would have given zero stars if I could have.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Royal Canin Kibble size and shape

JVC1

Best dog food for Labradors. Kibble shape keeps teeth clean and larger size slows down consumption (all things considering lol). My choclate lab is 5 yrs old, perfect weight and shiny-est coat in town.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Worms in food

Kfreeman

My wife and I have fed this to our dogs for years and never ever had a problem. When feeding our dogs lastnight we discovered worms in the dog food… we keep their food in airtight containers always. You guys dropped the ball on that batch of food and it’s probably gonna cost you a lifetime customer

Bad ingredients

A real dog lover

Way over-rated, Chicken By-products is the number 1 ingredient?!? Are you kidding me?!? Along with Corn Gluten and Wheat Gluten. This has to be the most overpriced junk food you could ever give a dog. I'm glad that I looked at the ingredients BEFORE I brought it.

i have a 4 year old very healthy and muscular lab/pit mix- is this still a good choice?

  1. My stocky 3 year old Lab has been on Royal Canin Labrador since he was 18 months. He’s very healthy, however, I’m considering shifting to Royal Canin healthy weight per my vet’s advice.

My lab is 13 months old, information said for dogs 15 months. Can I safely start this food?

  1. yes, I have two labs… But remember new food gives doggy diarrhea so i would do have and half for a few days… (half of the old food and half of the new food. My labs are very healthy and no allergies with royal canin

Is Royal Canin dog food for labs in the AAFCO category?

  1. The Royal Canin Labrador Adult is approved for adult maintenance based on AAFCO standards

does the food specific for labs have grains in it or is it grain free? thanks

  1. The Labrador Adult does contain grains

Is this food good for allergies

  1. Yes! 2nd Labrador with healthiest life - cannot recommend this brand enough. Ultimately you need to ask your vet as they have a Rx line as well but base line is excellent, Little more expensive than others but worth it!!
