Same as KarisNick! I've had this on auto-delivery, but for several months the cans have come in smaller and the consistency has changed. Also looking for a replacement.

No, I do not recommend this product.

NOT HAPPY with all the product changes

I agree with you KarisNick! Reduced the size, more expensive, hard to find and no notice. Very irritating! We will be looking for an alternative as well. Too bad, because my finicky dog likes it. We have never purchased this product from Petco and have had no problem with their service ever.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I have had this food on auto-delivery for several years now. In the last few months there have been some big changes especially in the smaller size, and I'm not even sure it is the right consistency anymore. More money for less food. It looks more like cat food now. Ordering is ridiculous. They are either late or out completely. My dog does not understand this. You are messing with his food portions and the cost. What is really disappointing is nothing was ever announced about the changes. Guess we'll be looking around for different food. It is not good to be changing a poor dog's food up because the supplier is greedy (Royal Canin).

No, I do not recommend this product.

This food is perfect for my picky senior dog. He loves it. It does not cause any GI upset like some other wet foods. I struggled getting my little dachshund to eat and he was losing weight. This food saved his life.

Kidney Disease Dog This Is All He Will Eat

Rose0428

I decided to try this since our 11 yr old beagle mix dog in stage 3 kidney disease will not eat the kidney prescription food. I mix this with the kidney kibble and wet along with his phosphorous binder (aluminum hyroxide powder) and he gobbles it up and lick the plates. This is a miracle food for our sick puppy. He loves it and we ration him to 3 or 4 little meals a day - just purchased case of this miracle food for our pup.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This is the only dog food that my finicky 16yr old chihuahua will eat. It was recommended by his vet. I'm so glad to have something that he'll eat. I highly recommend it if you have a senior dog who doesn't want to eat sometimes.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Is this “in gel” wet food a stew with chunks, a pate or a loaf? I can’t find this info anywhere… TIA!

  1. This product is a loaf in sauce

Has the formula changed? One case I bought recently had a different consistency. Less pate and more gel like.

My Chihuahua is 1 years old. I have tried different food, but seems to like this one.She is a tea cup dog. Is it alright if she eats this food now at her age? Will it make her sick, how much would i give to her?

    1. I’m not a vet, but I know food that is age specific usually has a certain level of fats, proteins, moisture and calories that make it best for that age. Puppies need way more calories and proteins than old dogs, so your dog might not be getting the proper nutrients it needs if this is what it’s eating.

Will this food help my small dog gain weight

    1. Yes! My little dog (Teddy Bear)'s weight was 16 - 18 normal and never gain up or lose weight. He does like to eat them. :) Thanks you
