When changing your pet's diet, gradually mix food over a 5-7 day period, increasing daily the amount of new food added so that 100% of the new food will be provided to the pet by day seven. Food may be served right out of the bag or moistened with water, if desired. You may wish to leave a daily portion of dry cat food out and available at all times so that cats may feed themselves. Always remember to provide your pet with clean, fresh water at all times. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly. Which dry food is best for an indoor, seven year old cat, low in calories?
Hello, I have a question regarding food for cats. At home, we have found a full bag of dry food (Royal Canin) for cats of 7+ years of age. We didn't want to throw it away, therefore we've been feeding our 2,5-year-old cat with it. It seems the cat is more hungry than before and also puked last night (which happened from time to time before too). Should we stop using this dry food? Additionally, wouldn't be better to switch to wet food only? Thank you for your answer!
What food is good for cats who are five years old ?
I current feed my cat science diet for kittens she will be a year old in August. Which science diet do I incorporate when she is an adult. She is an indoor cat if that helps.
We have 1 1/2yr old Ragdoll female. At a steady 8.6 pounds/small frame. Area in front of back legs seems a little skinny. A couple of internet sites seems to suggest IAMS Proactive Health, Healthy Kittens is ok for adults to gain weight in view of it's extra protein and fat. Is that ok for 8.6 lb female.
What's the best dry indoor food for kittens?
Is royal canin the best cat food? Should I feed my cat the wet or dry type? And if I feed the wet type of royal canin which one would you recommend for a 1 year 7 month old cat who is active and 4.5 kg? I currently feed her friskies but i heard it’s like junk food for cats. I’d like to feed her a healthier brand
13 y/o male cat with hyperthyroidism. Need recommendation for affordable dry cat food.
After cat fight & treated at vet with Covina, rabies, anti inflam shot, my indoor/outdoor cat recovered indoors for 3 weeks. He started going outside again in a limited way. He gained weight. About 2-3 pounds. He is getting a tummy. Pics attached. His diet (per day) is free eating Hills Science dry perfect weight chicken, 2 to 2.5 (3oz cans fancy feast, (about 1/2 can at a time when he requests) & occasionally cooked chicken meat. Any suggestions how to loose weight / diet ? Thanks
Our 1 1/2 year old female ragdoll feline started loosing patches of fur for last 2 weeks. No scabs/raw spots on skin. Vetinarian concludes not fleas or ringworm. No known environmental changes or new house products. Now starting Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for 2-3 weeks in case it's food allergies. It's $50 for 7.7 lbs. Is there a less expensive equivalent Purina or other brand?? Thanks from Florida.
Royal canin or earthborn?? Thos are the choices i can buy from now
Senior Ferrel cat is getting thin and not eating as much. Appears to be getting thin and losing muscle mass, trouble climbing fence. Unable to approach, but comes by twice a day. looking for a food that may help.
