Excellent high quality food, delivers on promises.

My Maine Coon cats love this food. It is expensive but the food quality has always been worth it. Our litter robots track our cats behavior and timing and it is now always quite a bit more consistent for all of our cats. Usually we split a mix of this and the direct Maine Coon breed food.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Support of Royal Canin diet on show cats!

I have exotic shorthairs and have been feeding Royal Canin for years and years. Their coat, weight, etc is testament to the quality of the Royal Canin. I feed digestive as well as persian food. Results are great coats, less fecal material in litter boxes, maintaining weight, muscle, etc that is required for top show cats in both of the organizations I support - CFA and TICA.

I bought this after struggling with my cat’s digestive issues for years. Nothing else worked for her vomiting and diarrhea. No more belly issues after starting her on the digestive formula.

I have a 20 year old cat. Three times in the past year she has gotten constipated. She is healthy otherwise. The vet said this happens due to her age and changing foods wouldn’t help. Decided to do my own research and found this food. After about a week, she’s been pooping up a storm. More than she has in a long time. She loves the taste as well. I mix the food with her treats as well. I couldn’t be happier with this food. This food saved her from having to get enemas at the vet. I don’t mind the fuller litter box knowing she’s feeling good.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this cat food originally for my kittens with IBD but My older picky cat loved it. My older cat has been dealing with vomiting his food for years. I tried many other food and brands with no succes. Since I started on R.C. digestive I have no more issues! I highly recommend it! For my foster kittens I ended up with prescription Royal Canin HP that works better for them.

Questions

1 - 9 of 9 Questions
Sort by: Newest Answers

What is the shape of the kibble? I'm looking for the version that's flat disk shaped.

  1. The Digestive Care is a flat disc shape with a hole in the middle

Do you notice a difference in their BM (more firm) as soon as they start eating it or does it take a couple of days?

  1. Yes it works. Might take a few days. I have been using it for years with my 16 year old cat.

Can I buy this formula in a smaller kibble form?

  1. I am only aware of the one kibble size. What is the problem? reflux?

what is the phosphorus content of this dry food?

  1. My cat's favorite! Specific content not listed on bag. Try going to web site: royalcanin.com

I a bit confused...will this help constipation or make it worse?

  1. The Digestive Care is meant for healthy cats that only experience occasional looser stools. If you cat has constipation, this is not an appropriate diet and we recommend to speak to your veterinarian

Is this a good food for cats with IBD?

  1. My cat is about 5 years old. I got him with stomach and gut issues, vomiting and runny or too hard stool. He stopped having problems with this food. He usually will only eat the Royal food even though I do feed my other cats a different food. I had tried the vet rx version of this and it did not work because he would not eat it. I would give it a try. My cat has been on it for about 4 years.

Would this food be comparable to the prescription gastrointestinal moderate calorie dry food from Royal Canin?

  1. Not familiar with the Rx Gastro but my kitty with pancreatitis does well with this. It's a particular shape that encourages chewing not swallowing whole. Re calories, my kitty eats whenever he wants and has maintained a great weight for years. Hope that's somewhat helpful

Can I feed my 3 months old kitten with this food?

  1. This diet is formulated for adult cats only.

Do you need a prescription to buy Royal cabin cat food for digestive problems???

  1. Thank you for your inquiry. This is a non-prescription pet food as may be purchased without a prescription.
