I currently feed Royal Canin Adult canned food. It is a pate/loaf, not a wet gel. My dog has swallowing issues, and needs a smooth food. Is this chunky food in gel? The label looks the same as my current food, but it seems there is a consistancy change?
- It’s a pate type formula, no big chunks. I use 2 spoonfuls mashed with warm water to make a gravy to mix with my dog’s kibble, and she always laps it up first before eating the rest. You might want to thin it out this way to make it even easier for your dog to swallow. Best of luck!

What is the best dry/wet dog food? Cherokee is so picky with dry and wet food. She will only eat little Cesar wet food and the dry for now is Purina. I've tried about 4 different brands and either she will puke it up or not eat if not her Cesar. Back story- she. We got Cherokee she barley had any teeth so wet was all she could eat.
