As If They Were Starving

My two senior Chihuahua mixes had been rather picky with their food. Royal Canin has a great reputation with the other people in dog rescue so I gave it a try. They both gobble this food! Both are bigger than a Chihuahua. Nori is a mix of Chihuahua and Doxie. He’s not overweight but he is a big boy. Soy Sauce is Chihuahua and Pug. She is a little overweight. Because she has very bad arthritis in her elbow any weight she can take off will help. Never before have I seen a dog eat a weight loss formula with so much delight!

Best food on the market

My dog was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis about a year ago, so a low fat diet is a must for him. We tried several other brands given to us by the vet's office, but my dog adamantly refused to eat any of them. After doing my own research, I decided to give Royal Canin Weight Care canned food a try. Best decision ever! My boy LOVES this food. He's been eating this food for about 7 months now, still loves it, and hasn't had any pancreatitis flare ups at all since we made the switch. His stomach doesn't bloat up after eating anymore and overall, just seems to be a happier, healthier dog. Even his vet was impressed at his last check up with how great he is doing. I would highly recommend this product for any dog needing a low- fat diet.

I am sorry to learn that you are having difficulty acquiring this product. Rest assured it is not discontinued. We have paused many retail diets, such as the one mentioned, to refocus efforts to producing veterinary diets. Unfortunately we do not have an exact estimated in stock date to provide at this time.<!--[if ReviewResponse]><![endif]-->

Says low fat heres hoping

I don't understand why lowfat dog food is double or triple the price of the regular food my dog has pancreatitis and has to have low fat this is the most affordable one I could find being on a fixed income hopefully he will be ok on it, seems to really like the taste he eats it so time will tell if he has a flare up or not, now when I opened the cans it did have alot of slimy jelly on the top and a ton on the bottom so the can was actually only 3/4 full of actual dog food the rest was that jelly crap now i don't know if that's normal in every can if it is then we're getting ripped off because the cans aren't actually full of food this is my first time ordering RC I'll try it again but if it's the same next time then I wouldn't recommend buying it just a heads up for others.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought 2 this month and the bag of dog food to go with it. Plus I also bought the blue bag also for our other dog. We looked it so far. :) I’m just having trouble to view my petco app account after working with several times, but the dog food is great

Yes, I recommend this product.
