It's a hit but still testing.

First of all I can't keep the dogs' faces out of the food bin. They are pretty addicted to it. I won't say what brand they were and still are getting, because it should not reflect poorly on that one. They were plenty happy with that food. I wanted to try this for the dental cleaning aspect. It is too cost prohibitive for me to feed them this all the time. To offset the price we plan to alternate feedings or cycle feedings of both foods. I will have to do more research to determine which will be most agreeable to their digestion while also benefiting from the dental cleaning component of this food. After we complete one bag I will inspect their teeth to determine the efficacy of the dental cleaning component. I can say that the texture is such that it should lend to cleaning. Very large kibble that requires a chew and when they crunch it, it kind of sounds like they are eating malted milk balls. My suspicion is that it doesn't cake on the teeth and may gently scrape them. We shall see.
