Great food, Roman approved

We have always used Royal Canin, but let’s face it the cost has gotten high. We tried other reputable brands but they just didn’t work for my Rottie. Lots of loose stools, skin irritation, and small kibble sizes. Well we are back to Royal Canin and it’s Roman approved. I see an instant improvement in all I mentioned above. The kibble size is perfect for my boy with big jaws! Kibble size does matter! Won’t be changing again but come on Royal Canin, let’s get back to a more reasonable cost. Lots of pet parents will miss out on this great food for their pups because of the cost.

Dog loves it. I don't like that it is by-products.

I have to say my dog loves this food. Usually I have to add something to her dry food so she would eat it. She eats this just the way it is. Makes it so easy to feed. I gave it 4 stars because of the ingredients. Royal Canin over the last few years went down hill with ingredients. Now instead of meat or meat meal it's by-products. Something they used to point fingers at with other brands. Plus their prices are insane. I got this because it was on sale. The kibble looked big. I didn't see no other shapes except large square kibble but she chewed it and really liked it. Usually she seemed to inhale her food without even chewing. I'll buy it again if it goes on another good sale.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Misinformation about by-products in pet food is widespread, and has resulted in many misconceptions. Royal Canin only uses high-quality by-products such as hearts, livers and lungs and when processed properly, by-products provide valuable nutrients for the pet. They are excellent sources of quality protein, vitamins and minerals and can help contribute to a balanced nutritional profile.<!--[if ReviewResponse]><![endif]-->

Been very happy with RC Rottweiler. Went from Rottweiler Puppy, to Junior Giant and now he is about 18 months and starting to transition to Rottweiler adult. He loves the food, growing strong and healthy, coat looks fantastic! It’s worth the cost, bag lasts alittle over a month because we mix with fresh. Happy happy

My Vet suggest Royal Canine Our Veterinarian suggested this food for my Rottweiler when we adopted/who rescued who. It was very difficult to find the brand and breed. Our Rottie had surgery for a rupture emblical cord. We purchased it from CHEWY because no one had this particular breed food. Now I have found another place to buy from!! Not to mention the variety of alll kinds of items to spoil the Love of My Life!!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

This was the best food for my rottweiler. She didn't shed. Her coat looked great. It was good for her joints and energy level. I wish it would come back in stock.
