On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. Questions
Should I get XSMALL dog food or just the chihuahua dog food one? My chihuahua is a teacup and underweight and super tiny like 2 pounds.
- We would highly recommend our Chihuahua Adult dry dog food.

why can we no longer get bichon food?
Will this food help my chihuahua gain weight?
- I have 4 chihuahuas, I feed them twice a day the right portion, none of them is fat,. Their vet has never mentioned they are either overweight nor underweight. They eat carrots as treats.

Is this a good food for dogs that have harder stool issues?
- In my experience it’s led to more firmer stools for my dogs. (Not constipation, mind you)

My 7 month 4 pound Chihuahua is extremely picky with dog food and my 10 month old chiwennie is picky as well do you recommend this food for them and do I get this one or the Chihuahua puppy one please help
- Since they are young, Royal Canin Chihuahua Puppy would be better. Once they are both at least 10 months, You can also get the Royal Canin Indoor Life Small Dog and mix the two foods. I hope this helps!

My chihuahuas are a little overweight. Would "Royal Canine Chihuahua" or "Royal Canine X-Small" help to get them to maintain a better weight?
- It sounds like you're asking for proper nutrition with proper weight maintenance. But if you have a concern about your dog with overweight gain, you may want to try "Royal Canin Health Nutrition Weight Care." It helps in weight loss. I still use the usual adult Royal Canin dog food regularly, but my Chihuahua puts on weight at times so I switch between the 2 products, as needed.

My small dog is very picky with her food. She has a very small bite and finding foods or treats is hard to find . Which food and treat?
- My Chiweenie is beyond picky. The Chihuahua food from Royal Canin is great. I give her a variable bunch of wet food to find out what she likes. I've found that lamb and anything with sweet potatoes makes her happy.
