2 months ago, my boxer started chewing her paws and I consulted with my vet and he recommended a change of food to Royal Canin. Long story short, I purchased this dry food and my boxer cannot get enough of this food!

Love, love, love your product and my best friend Berry definitely agrees! Thank you for providing quick service too! Our local pet store could not obtain the product on time for our repeat delivery, but ya'll had it the very next day. I just wish you offered the tenth bag free as they do and I would continue to get the food directly through you. Thanks again and Berry gives you a high paw too!

Nothing Like It!

I have been feeding this to my boxer puppy since she was six months old. I am impressed with how well the transition from the puppy boxer food to the adult boxer food was. Everyday she looks forward to eating her food and I feel confident and worry-free feeding her this food too. She is strong and healthy with a shiny coat and I know this is due to the great recipe and care with this dog food.

Wasn’t for my boxer.

Switched from boxer puppy to adult formula at 15 months. My dog liked it but struggled chewing the large kibbles. Switched to a different sensitive stomach dog food at 18 months old. My dog started to vomit the boxer formula right after eating it and was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Noticed less gas issues and loose stools after switching dog food. The boxer formula seems to be a good dog food but not for my boxer.

We've had our Leo on the Boxer formula for nearly 3 years now. Past 6 months or so he is not as interested in his food. He paces around the table as if he is getting himself talked into eating it, but eventually does. Just not nearly as much as he used to. Just seems like we are directing him to eat all the time now.

We've been feeding our boxers (we've had two in the past 15 years) this brand of dog food for over ten years. They do really well on this brand and I feel confident it's a good choice for them.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

My boxer is turning 15 months and we would love to transition her to this food but she is a petite young lady at just 44lbs. Is this food appropriate for her?

  1. It would be a great choice!

What about for Pittbull Terrier Adult? Will this be the correct formula?

  1. For a Pitbull Terrier we recommend a diet based on age and size, like the Medium or Large Adult

Would this be acceptable for Boxadors?

  1. For mix breed dogs we recommend a diet based on age, size and lifestyle, like the Large Adult.

I have a boxer and a Maltese shih Tzu mix what bag would be appropriate for both of them to be on?

  1. We would not have a diet that is appropriate for both dogs to be on. The best option is the Boxer Adult and the Small Adult

Would a pit bull eat this type?

  1. Hello, you can feed her the Boxer formula but she may do better on our size nutrition products. I've attached a link to the formula for your review. http://www.royalcanin.com/products/products/dog-products/size-health-nutrition/maxi-dogs-from-56-99-lb/maxi-adult

I see this has great reviews and my vet carries R.C., but the fist three indgredients for Boxer food are Brown rice, brewers rice, chicken by-product?

  1. I have been feeding Royal Canin to my Boxers for about 10 years now, after having various allergy and digestive issues with other brands. All I can say is that since I made the change, my Boxers have been much happier and healthier.

How long does a bag of Royal Canin last?

  1. I also have 2 boxers, and the 30lb bag will last close to a month, been on this food all their lives, only food they'll eat. . But it will last about a month. Well worth the money to keep your boxer's healthy

how do you keep your dog from eating his own feces? We've tried everything.

  1. Syner-G Digestive Enzymes. This will almost certainly solve your problem.

which of your dog foods would work best for my female pit bull and how much would I feed her she weighs about 70 lbs . and has had one litter of puppi

  1. You need a ton of calories going into the pit bull if she is nursing. We honestly used puppy food when we bred our boxers (nursing phase). If she started to dry up, we would even add moist just to increase her intake. Think high fat and calories. This is what is best for the puppies to get as much mothers milk into her as possible. if you are past this point. I thought Royal Canin had pit bull formula, but if not, I sure like the shape of the food for the mouth. They don't leave half eaten chunks of food everywhere. I also like the clear coat, the energy that a working boxer needs. Boxers are high energy, I am guessing your pit is too, if not consider something different. Hope that helps.

does the boxer 26 dog food do anything about gas issues?

  1. Boxers, as well as most other dogs, are prone to food allergies. The problem is the food that you are feeding your Boxer. Spend the extra money on quality food, and your Boxer will not have an upset/gassy stomach, and you will have a much more pleasantly smelling house! Like people who have gas, it's because of what they ate!
